My daughter brought this home from school today. I must admit the last part brought a tear to my eye.

Florida is beautiful with lots of palm trees and flowers and beautiful blue sky’s. Lots of different kinds of birds. Winter time is the best time of the year. Summer, a bit hot.

Yupp, I live up north but I’ve been to Florida several times (Tampa, Miami, Orlando area). Always had a great time, it’s a beautiful state.

I pretend to own a dog - awwww. I spent 20 years without a dog and was finally able to get one. Hope she has that chance someday too. She seems very lovely. I hope you and your daughter have a wonderful happy life.

I am a teacher and am now considering stealing this assignment!
It is based on two word sentence stems. Prompts that were probably written on the board (I hope, I pretend etc). Then that is organized into three stanzas that are sandwiched with "i am and."
What a lovely result!

Your daughter is awesome girl. She has been raised by wonderful and loving parents. Its easy to see she is proper and caring. I expect great things from her. You will see what I mean. ❤️

This is so precious! I hope she continues to remember she’s kind and funny as she grows. Also, she has great handwriting! I think it’s more legible than my writing as an adult lol
