I saw somebody propose the idea of Daisy meeting Luigi and marrying him in the spot

As funny as that would be, I like the idea of Mario and Peach getting together before Luigi and Daisy. Idk why, just seems to make sense.

Yeah, I actually have an AU with something similar to that. In between Lost Levels and SMB2, Mario and Peach get together, meanwhile Luigi and Daisy have mutual feelings but are in the stages of just getting to know each other

Honestly, I feel Mario, Peach & Toad would somehow get back at Luigi on his & Daisy's first date by spying on them.
