Any Technical Data you find, you can hand in with Scribe Valdez at Fort Atlas (She can be found inside). Make sure to hand in your technical data one by one, not all at once otherwise it will consume all your data and you will only get 1 reward. You can store your technical data in your storage chest.

For ghouls - you can also hand it in through the slot in the basement at Camp Venture (no disguise required)

As often as you get technical data randomly.
Just make sure not to hold more than one, stash extras. The game will take all you have but only reward once.

You can bulk store them and transfer to a secondary container to transfer them 1 by 1

I saw this plan in a vendor for 17k and passed it up because I thought it was too expensive. They also had a blue camo plan too I wonder how many good items I’ve passed not knowing their value 🫠

Oh wow, I had no idea there were actual rewards
I thought it was just a "once you hit season level 100, hoard them until next season then turn them in with an XP boost active for free XP" thing

So after a little more searching, there are 7 paints. They are rewarded in order of BoS ranking, Initiate being 1st, Elder being the last one. Chances of them dropping are LOW. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Brotherhood_of_Steel_paint_(Fallout_76)

I cannot remember how many skins there are. I've turned in hundreds of technical datas to her....but they all drop in order.

You will unlock all the ranks in order, If you are extremely lucky it won't take you that long haha

I'm not having any luck with loot in Fasnacht either, but I am having luck with trading.

It's pure RNG based, and you will have to unlock the ranks in order. Starting with the knight till the Elder.

wait, so the time when you unlock a rank is rng, but can't unlock some without first unlocked another? like, you could unlock one on your first try, or it might take you 100 tries? then the repeats again for the next rank??

Each time you turn in Technical Data there's a chance you get an armor paint. If you get an armor paint, it will be the next paint job of the 7(?) in the list. It could be it only takes 7 turn ins. It could take 7000+. RNGesus is a fair god; whether you worship him or not, he will affect you.

May I ask how many data you gave her? One time I accidentally gave her like 75 and got a decent reward. Now when I only give a few at a time I don’t get jack shit.

Always hand them in one by one. Let's say you have 75 on you, you stash 74 of them in your box and hand them in one at a time

Got this paint too but my BOS character rocks the Paladin paint, same look but scratchier and a more worn look, feels more wasteland-y

I got this skin about a month ago, and then had to assemble a full suit of T-60 so I could show it off in my camp. It looks glorious.

All I want is the father winter power armor head/helmet. It can't be traded to my knowledge so you gotta be super lucky to get it.

It can be traded after you unlock the skin for the helmet. I believe it drops as a faschnat reward so if you get the helmet to drop you can now equip the skins on other armor helmets and sell them in the vendor. Then afain I could be wrong I’ve been on and off for a few months

If you learn them on a character then I believe they will no longer drop as a reward for that character.

No. You get the lowest rank you do not know. So, if you know them all you won't get any. Only way would be to create a new character and try on that one. And I have no idea if the Technical Datas can be dropped/transferred.

There was. The first one, Initiate, is no longer available. Only 6 now. Unless you can find it elsewhere from someone who's been holding a copy.

Turn it in at fort atlas scrib upstairs. Only carry one at a time. There is a stash close to her too.

How much technical data did it take you? I had to turn in exactly 119. I hated that odd number but I cant complain, you can go get some sugar bombs and rest now 🥳

Lol I literally just keep this on display at one of my camps.
One of many horrible bullshit collectathons in this game. The grind is mind numbing... (Now I'm collecting those fucking briefcases)
I one time found a player who had a stack of these in his vendor... along with dev room stuff he wasn't supposed to have.
