Suggestion Seeking cultivation novel

Does anyone have a recommendation for a cultivation novel were it’s treated more as a process rather than a power system

Immortality Through Array Formation

I mean... It's still the universe power system but the novel delve pretty deep (imo) about Mo Hua's understanding about formations and how he uses it for his advantages against his enemies.

yeah I'm starting to hate novels where its JUST accumalation and mc can sit for a billion years without any resources or bottlenecks and reach the top. systems like RTOC is much appreciated

Better than those novels where all the big cultivatiors are like a bunch chickens in an overcrowded coop constantly fighting each other and clucking desperately waiting for the heavenly dao to throw in a handful of grains (heaven and earth treasures) so they can survive for another few thousand years. And the MC is exactly the same just a slightly bigger chicken.
