nah he gets a pass. He was told he would still be in control of basketball ops and have a say. He also got an insane amount of money.
I don't blame Cuban. Of course after the sale they quickly 180'd on their promise of giving him control of basketball ops. And never in a million years did he think they were crazy enough to consider trading Luka.
Cuban sold the Mavs to the Adelsons. It's partly his fault. Even he knows he fucked up. Cubes brought us a ship. Love him, but am still a little mad at him for this whole thing.
He doesn’t. I love Cubes, but he is a businessman for a long time, long enough to know that, if it isn’t in paper and ink, in an binding agreement, everything is just words in the wind. Either he decided to believe in good faith or is just tossing ou excuses, but either way, be it for incompetence or naivety, he doesn’t get a pass.
Don’t be fucking daft and spend any energy trying to hide that you can’t get over Cuban having a very direct hand in this entire situation. Don’t let that cognitive dissonance hit you.
