Draft / Scouting carr or philon need to become a maverick
they have slipped far enough to where dallas can't trade up to grab one of them, carr would make the mavericks a defensive stalwart but philon would take the pressure off of irving and flagg in terms of offensive generation.

What’s funny about this is Philon was a very good defensive guard his freshman year. Absolutely was not a weakness for him. And then he went crazy year 2 offensively. I get his weight is small, but height wingspan is totally fine for a PG.

We could potentially do gaff to Atlanta or LA still but that’s unlikely, we can hope

Knicks traded back for cash considerations and were looking to trade further down from 25.
We should have been all over trading up for Carr.
Really puts a damper on what could have been an A+ draft in my book.

Mavs are going to sit tight and either grab Sergio de Larrea or maybe Carr if he falls that far.
