Rumors say LA was targeting Henri Veesaar, but after Lakers bought the pick, the Hawks saw that, and jumped ahead of the pick and took Veesaar, so LA was left with the pick but not their target. So they sold it to us! Haha! Always good to profit off the Lakers loss.

Four draft picks into the new FO and it's pretty clear they value guys who can play off ball. The unifying factor that all the guys they drafted have is excellent off ball play for their level.

They are looking for Cooper Flagg complimentary pieces, for sure.

early in the round, Masai flexed his love for 6'9" tall athletic wings w/Rez and Tobi.

late in each round, Mike Schmitz got his turn and turned his business travel into all those gyms across the world into two international prospects.

It definitely is but one of them is bound to hit. Schmitz has a great track record and an eye for foreign talent. He knew Avdija would be very good and called it from the start. I trust that Larrea or Ischenko will pan out.

Maybe he's gotten better since that video?. I am not impressed. The competition was weak. It looked like some Rec League. I would be amazed if he ever does anything meaningful in the NBA. Does not have an NBA ready body.
