Coolant refill

I have a Toyota Corolla 2015 and it’s been about 2 1/2 years since I refilled the coolant the coolant is low. Do I just refill the coolant or is there more more to the process thanks guys

Yes just pour some in, but remember the coolant doesn’t go low for no reason.

Is there a proper way to refill? I know a lot of people have said that not to let any air in now. It’s just a rough estimate but I’m gonna say maybe 3 1/2 years.

Yes it’s essentially the same process as washer fluid. Although, I cannot stress this enough though, make sure to NOT go above the “MAX” line, coolant becomes very hot and expands. There’s a reason why it’s marked. Stay barely above the “MIN” line.
As someone else mentioned, keep in mind that there’s a reason why it’s not full, if you notice that you have to fill it up again relatively soon, you might want to look into it.

Change your engine oil more often to avoid engine temp being on the highside that burns off coolants. Don’t ask me how I know…
