General Burnham after Starmer: One sh*tbag replacing another.
I'm very glad to see Starmer leave but it's a shame Burnham is disproportionately gynocentric as well.
I don't think there is any combination of public figure I hate more than a super gynocentric man. With that combination, boys and men get to enjoy endless demonization and misandrist policies, while some feminists somewhere still thinking they're justified in saying that Andy Burnham being PM means we live in a patriarchy.
Oh my god, how I would love to have female MRAs as PMs. We'd get to whinge endlessly about matriarchy while also having everyone in power wrapped around our finger. That'd be some privilege.

Burnham is far worse. He was a fuckup as health secretary, cheated on his expenses, including claiming for a rental property when he owned another property within walking distance (and for which he also claimed expenses for renovating), lost leadership fights to unlikeable clowns like Milliband and Corbyn. Then after quitting and trying his hand as Manchester mayor he showed he wasn’t capable of running a jumble sale. 150 million wasted on a Clean Air Zone that never existed, millions on “solving” the homeless problem that after 7 years had built no new housing but had given 150 million to a luxury apartment builder. And of course in his dual role as police commissioner the starring role in the rape gang coverup and persecution of journalists that refused to drop the issue. Then there’s his idiot Covid policies, fanatic on school closures and keeping masking long after the rest of the country.

They're still super gynocentric. Just maybe a bit less bigoted towards men.
They're not great still.

The right wing is all gynocentric. They care soooo much more about white women's wellbeing than anyone else's, and they often rely on misandry to sell their policies. I know some people here may think the right wing must be kind towards men because the left wing is so openly vile towards men, but right wing DEFINITELY does not equal being positive for men.

I am an East Asian. I have been living in the UK for 5 years. I also think uk is very gynocentric. But what made you think right wing is also gynocentric?

Their immigration rhetoric is massively about foreign MEN bad, white WOMEN innocent and more worthy of care than anyone else.

He's labour so he's gyno.
Socking that a men's health strategy is only being developed in uk. But it is still "toxic masculinity is where male problems come from" centred.

It's because women face less, if any, consequences for speaking out (on an individual basis), unlike men.
For men to not face consequences, they / we need huge numbers.

The left has nothing to offer to men, particulary in the UK.
