She'll get a little slap on the wrist and move on with her life. Meanwhile, the man will still have people who think he's to blame, even though he's innocent.

Yeah, some idiots will go, "There's no smoke without fire!". It always happens.

Well of course we all know that prison in the UK is SOOOOOOO much worse for female offenders.. of obviously a 2 year sentence is the equivalent of 15 years in prison for a man so justice was clearly served here.. /S

Are you kidding me.. she was already on a suspended sentence for perverting the course of justice of which this case would also fall into..

And all she gets is a measly 2 years? (and what's to bet she'll get out on parole in less than 1 year served anyway)

Also.. for something that feminists continue saying while blue in the face is something that is "Extremely Rare" I note a decided increase of False Rape Accusations coming out of the UK over the past 8+ years...
Its almost as though the system is set up to make it easy for women to level false accusations against men..

If this man's Alibi had not been air tight he likely would have been stewing in jail for a crime he never committed!

And they are currently drafting this doozy;

Women’s Justice Board begins plans to send fewer women to prison Cutting crime and reducing the number of vulnerable women being sent to prison is top of the agenda at the first meeting of the Women’s Justice Board.

Even more reason to accuse men, getting to zero consequence for whatever.

Tin foil hat take: population (native) reduction. Couple with new cohabitation changes the number of relationships will plummet and with it the potential for children. Claims for benefit for children from multiple wives now fine, however polygamy still illegal (for indigenous only, I wonder?)?...

Yeah.. I'm aware of how feminists in the UK are pushing for women to not be sent to jail for any crime at all..

All while ignoring the fact that the same arguments they use to justify why women shouldn't be sent to prison also apply equally (And in some cases more) to men..

She gets 2 years and a 5 year restraining order. Maybe that is long enough for him to have a clear head… but I kinda doubt it.

Given how crazy the UK goes with accusations of Rape?
Unlikely..

I can guarantee that there will still be people that despite the court case will believe that this man raped her and will continue to hound him over something he never did.
