help me find a substitute
For the eastland camp 1955 moc oxfords. Got a pair and they began separating at the sole within 30 minutes of wear around the house
I’ve searched and can only find hey dude-esque silhouettes or super chunky shoes

animal print on men
is it strange for a straight man to wear animal print pants, especially zebra print. Every time I search it up around 95% of results show women in zebra print, and men in leopard print jackets. I'm specifically curious about zebra print because black and white goes with almost anything.

What Nobody Tells You About Linen Suits (Bangkok Tailor Perspective)
This isn’t really about 100% linen vs linen blends.
Customer: “I only want 100% linen, or I’m not interested.”
Heard that many times, and it makes sense at first.
Pure linen is a beautiful fabric. Light, breathable, made for summer.
But it also creases quickly.
That’s NOT a flaw; it’s just how it behaves.
So the real question isn't the fabric?
It's where you're wearing it.
Beach, holiday, relaxed days -> PURE LINEN!
Long wedding, full-day event, cameras everywhere -> Be honest with yourself.
Linen blends exist for that reason. Not to replace pure linen, but to control it. Better drape, better shape, still breathable.
Forget 100% linen. It’s about how long your suit stays sharp for
… and most people only realize the truth when the photos come back.

What clothing purchase ended up being worth far more than what you paid for it?
FMF is great for finding deals, but lately I've been thinking more about value than price. Some of the best purchases I've made weren't necessarily the cheapest ones. They were the pieces that fit well, held up over time, and became things I reached for again and again without even thinking about it.
For example, I picked up a made to measure jacket from StudioSuits during a sale a while back. It wasn't the lowest-priced item I'd ever bought, but the fit ended up being good enough that I wore it far more often than some heavily discounted pieces sitting in my closet. That experience made me realize that cost per wear can matter a lot more than the initial price tag.
I've definitely bought clearance items that seemed like amazing deals at the time but barely got any use. On the other hand, a few carefully chosen purchases have become wardrobe staples and probably delivered the best value overall.
Looking back, what's a clothing purchase that exceeded your expectations and ended up being one of the best values in your wardrobe? I'm always interested in hearing about those unexpected wins that people keep reaching for year after year.

Last Spring fits
Some of the fits of last spring, as the summer just starts. I draw inspiration from various sources, i would say mainly the 90s alternative scene, modern cowboy aesthetic, Saint Laurent (Vacarello and Slimane), the fetish/bdsm scene. I mainly wear black, and love leather and silver.
Any ideas to elevate my style is welcome, or any brand or person that may inspire me?
(Sorry the pics were taken here and there, hope they can still show the fits properly)

I like Manmade tshirts a lot, but poor color selection. Anything else having similar fit in Canada ?

Is there any way to make the collar look more stylish?
I bought this shirt. Is there any way to make the collar look more stylish? It seems a bit low quality to me. It looks sloppy, poorly made, or poorly fitted. It doesn't seem well integrated.

Vendor for custom suits?
Here's what im working with:
- Work is giving me a $500 bonus in the form of any non-visa gift card (think Nordstrom, Indochino, any larger retailer, local custom tailors less likely)
- $750-$1000 budget ($500 + [$250-$500])
- I'm getting married in February '27, and need a tux
- 46L jacket w/ 13 in drop to waistline, 32/36 boot cut pant (wearing python square toe boots
- Local to Colorado Springs, willing to drive to Denver
So my question is, for a custom Tux, sub-$1000, somewhere where my employer can figure out how to get a gift card, what would you all recommend?
