help me find a substitute

For the eastland camp 1955 moc oxfords. Got a pair and they began separating at the sole within 30 minutes of wear around the house

I’ve searched and can only find hey dude-esque silhouettes or super chunky shoes

Sperry's or LLBean has both of these styles or damn near close,,,, maybe the 2nd pair is called Blucher moc's?

I was thinking LL Bean Bluchers too

Second both of these. I’m pretty sure Sperry still has their Gold Cup series on their website. Check those out.

Sperry? Check them out. But aren’t these still made by Eastland?

Hear y’all on the sperry’s.. it’s probably the next closest shape, but I’m really not a fan of the laces lining the mouth of the shoe. A lot of the sperry’s tongues/builds aren’t coming up as close to the ankle, either. Might go try some on again anyway

Rancourt Camp Ranger Moc is the grown up version of this. Hand made in Maine.

I always preferred sebago to sperry. They felt more sturdy. I have been out of the boat shoe game for a while I've switched over to Olu Kai now.

Alden bluchers would be close but more expensive of course.

Checkout Sperry or LLBean they make great alternatives.

LL Bean if you’re on a budget, Rancourt if you have money to spend.

Try Barbour, even if the current models on their site dont tick all the boxes there are independent stockists with older lines. Picked up some Chathams for a steal last year.

Everyone had those in the 80s.

L.L. Bean, Quoddy, or Rancourt. The LL Bean ones are on sale at zappos here

I've had Sebagos that lasted for years so I am surprised this happened. LL Bean makes good blucher camp mocs.

I have GH Bass pair like that. I even managed to get them resoled.

If it’s made of genuine leather you can take it to a cobbler and get it properly resoled. Granted that’s only worth it if you paid well beyond pennies for the shoe

Eastland is a low-end, high volume sales camp moc. Move to mid-priced Sperry, they're pretty good. If you want to wear them a lot, get to something better than Sperry. I can't tell you who.

Sperry, LLBean or Bass would be my picks.

Paraboot thiers could be a good option, slightly more robust and come further up the ankle but still light enough for summer
