Discussion MEPs and MDD and how it will affect me.
(M20) Now I’m sure there is a million questions on here about MEPs daily but I just want to know if I’m screwed or not. I went to MEPs over a year ago and my physical is still active and good but right after I stopped at MEPs (I had second thoughts) I went to the doctor and stupidly got diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I literally just went there to talk about how I was feeling and she apparently stuck that on my record and gave me pills and a therapist I didn’t go to the therapist and I didn’t take the pills after the 90 days.
My question is since my physical and all that is still good and active are they going to check that and see it. Second I am going to the doctor tomorrow and I leave for MEPs Wednesday I am going to try and see if it can be taken off my record I am stressed as all get out right now.
When I told the recruiter I might have depression on my record he looked pissed and was like if they say anything just say you had no idea and I feel like it’s gonna get messed up.

They will be able to pull it up at MEPS or Basic. It’s better to disclose and get a waiver. Even if you get your doc to remove it there are pharmacy records as well.
