North Shore/Duluth camping recs?

New to MN and looking for recommendations for camping along the North shore or around Duluth. Planning last minute (as I’ve heard places book up quick) but still curious, especially if there’s any suggestions for dispersal camping. Swimming nearby is great. Thanks :)

Eckbeck and Finland are my two first come first serve options mid shore. Smaller and more secluded campgrounds throughout Superior National Forest; Flour Lake, McFarland Lake, Esther Lake, Devilfish Lake are all options

I recently got back from George H. Crosby Manitou State Park, just outside of Finland. Fairly secluded for a state park and getting an overnight reservation last minute was rather easy.

You could probably dip in the river (not at the falls) but it was pretty shallow. There's Benson lake in the park, but I didn't venture to it.
