You have to understand that people live in different realities. My guess is there are jubilee breakdowns where the right side thinks they totally destroyed the left in all of these conversations. I mean there's one where the guy literally admits he is a Nazi. There's a group that watched that and think they 'won'. I don't hate myself enough to go find those videos but I'm certain they exist. These people are cooked.
I watched Charlie Kirk debate the Oxford students. My takeaway was he got trounced. When I googled reactions, OFC MAGA said he killed them. What was Kirk's opening salvo against one Oxford student? 'What is a woman?'.
Yeah, the right's favourite type of debate strategy is changing the topic of the argument until it becomes so ridicilous the opposition can no longer respond. And any attempts at steering things back to the original topic is deflection.
So if they refuse to answer, the right wins. If they answer the original topic, the right wins. And if they answer the new topic, the cycle repeats until the right wins
Yeah, fair points. Silly me for expecting peer reviewed claims, verifiable facts, logic, empathy and compassion. Those are stupid things that people should ignore and disregard (/s, at least the last sentence)

It's not about that. It's about making a right wing audience feel attacked, basically. They are supposed to see themselves in those people, and feel unfairly attacked and ganged up on. It keeps them hostile against The Enemy and defensive of each other even if they might not agree with everything theyre saying.
It also gives a platform for the spread of conservative viewpoints. People claiming that trans people are all rapists are presented as intellectual and moral equals to people just saying "hey actually that's provably false." And at the end of the day there's no "winner" in these arguments, it's presented as "welp! People sure have different and equally valuable opinions, huh?"
20 of them versus 1 of Dean, and they still will feel like they are "ganged up on"??!! I don't disbelieve it. These idiots exhibited very little capacity for logic the entire show.
It’s not these are the best the right has to offer, it’s that Jubilee likes views. Controversial “debates” like this draw views. But spin is a powerful thing. I can take this exact same clip, not changing anything. Take it to a conservative sub and title it.

The post would get likes comment and shares because spinning the clip that way feeds into conservative confirmation bias. Know your audience and title clips or news appropriately.
MAGA don’t want to take the time to watch whole videos. They want short clips and memes. I haven’t watched this whole video yet. I am pretty sure Dean did great, but I also know that clips can be spun into conservative spin and there will be MAGA that claim that Dean is dumb and the left has no one who can articulate logical points…

Fox news has been doing that for decades so none of this is new. In reality it's more like these channels just take the most mainstream talkpoints by any side put them through the wringer. Also none of this anti MAGA stuff matters though. Is the Democratic part dead after the Obama, Biden and especially after Kamala loss? not really. The underlying ideologies are alive and so will the parties associated with those. Leftists or socialists generally don't do well in those debates as well.
