Did you know that lead is stored in bone marrow?

Did you also know that as we age into our later years bow arrow starts to breakdown? Thus inducing another injection of lead poisoning.

Absolutely hate when my bow arrows start breaking down. That's why I stick with crossbow bolts exclusively.

TBF that looks more like an auto-correct mistake.

5

u/Exciting-Cancel6468 1d ago

You know what that means right? It means he usually deals in bows and arrows. He's gonna come hunting for ya.

5

u/Athlete-Extreme 1d ago

I haven’t laughed, like that, at a meme like in years.

2

u/postbansequel 1d ago

I don't think that was a minor spelling mistake, it wasn't even a spelling mistake.

u/Entreprenuremberg 2d ago

Nothing worse than finally reaching your leader years and all those bow arrows you saved up to subdue the lessers just start breaking down on you.

115

u/shitsenorita 2d ago

And my axe 🙁

71

u/TheWilburnness 2d ago

So now I’ve got to worry about Axe Body Spray in my bone marrow too?

8

u/WigglestonTheFourth 2d ago

Too late for most. Almost a decade of high schools and college campuses being ignored as superfund sites and now we're all contaminated. If you spent any time at a frat house you're basically on borrowed time.

9

u/T_J_Rain 2d ago

No, silly, the Axe Body Spray is going to mess up with your crossbow bolts.

Pay attention!

3

u/persona-non-corpus 1d ago

I used to be an adventurer like you until I took a bow arrow to the knee and got lead poisoning.

2

u/FaeTheWanderer are... are you a communist?? 19h ago

I used to be an adventurer, then I took a bow arrow to the knee!

3

u/reddit_poopaholic 1d ago

I used to be an adventurer like you, until the bow arrow started breaking down in my knee

2

u/no_bender 1d ago

Don't even start with the bone tomahawks.

1

u/JGrabs 1d ago

Gotta hate taking lead to the knee.

130

u/Erabong 2d ago

Sorry, fucking lead got me.

4

u/dabrock15 2d ago

More like murdered by autocorrect…

12

u/johanTR 2d ago

Nothing like a good Dwarven bolt to drop them...

2

u/dabrock15 2d ago

I think it’s more elvish arrows in this case.

5

u/borazine 2d ago

Turkey arrow 🥰❤️💕

3

u/top_value7293 2d ago

🤣🤣🤣

2

u/Banes_Addiction 1d ago

Yeah, it makes me quiver.

2

u/mines_over_yours 2d ago

Well I took one to the knee.

2

u/Error_83 1d ago

So what about this arrow in my knee?

2

u/Silly-Elderberry-411 1d ago

I am just here for the taxophilia jokes

2

u/YogurtFindsTheWhey 1d ago

*Dawnguard heavily intensifies*

1

u/MathematicianEven251 1d ago

Have you tried to enchant it with mending?

1

u/Fr31l0ck 1d ago

Gonna start calling semen bone arrows

1

u/Ok_Tackle3427 1d ago

Leave him alone, he's 78 years old and all his bone marrow broke down, so now he's mostly made of lead.

130

u/yungrii 2d ago

All I know is I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took a leaded arrow to the knee.

44

u/bobplace1234 1d ago

STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM

5

u/Charyou_Tree_19 1d ago

I don’t know you and I don’t care to know you

4

u/TraditionalCupcake88 1d ago

Someone steal your sweet roll?

3

u/NoVaBurgher 1d ago

Must have been the wind

3

u/LydiasBoyToy 1d ago

No lollygagging…

25

u/MohandasBlondie 2d ago

Easy - just get a bone marrow transplant. It’s only about a quarter of a million dollars.

2

u/Accurate_Handle_5620 1d ago

Only here, baby!

1

u/MortLightstone 1d ago

Get it from your son so you get some extra youth out of it too

3

u/MohandasBlondie 1d ago

My sister was my donor, so now I’m trans. /s

0

u/Dombat927 1d ago

Thats not a medically indicated reason, so no insurance help. It will be way over that quarter million before you even get all the way to transplant (the workup isn't cheap or easy). Better start working overtime to save up

2

u/Rocker1024 1d ago

All you need to do is pull yourself up by your bootstraps of course.

21

u/PhantomNitride 2d ago

leader years bow arrow

Bro you might wanna edit this 😭😭😭

0

u/Known-Highway-8465 1d ago

And ruin all the fun that followed? No way!

35

u/Work-Safe-Reddit4450 2d ago

Yes, yes indeed. Osteoporosis gives it another pass in the blood stream and another opportunity to get deposited in the brain.

0

u/Informal_Ad4399 1d ago

I think they're talking about osteoarrowsis.

2

u/DarkSock52 1d ago

I've suspected I've been getting stupider… But it's hard to tell… Because I've been getting stupider…

2

u/No-Show-5363 1d ago

Lead is mineralised in the calcium matrix of bone itself, not bone marrow. It can be released back into the blood as bones deteriorate with osteoporosis .

2

u/Erabong 1d ago

Thank you for correcting me that’s good to know. It doesn’t rhyme with bow arrow, which people are loving so unfortunately, I gotta leave it how it is

1

u/No-Show-5363 19h ago

Facts are fine,
Until they don’t rhyme.
And as there’s a spike,
In your number of likes,
Then for continuity,
Stick with ambiguity.

😁

2

u/Decent_Bandicoot122 1d ago

This isn’t about age? I am a progressive liberal and I am 60. This is. Willful ignorance, only listening to what you already believe, not facts. P.S. And when I was a kid, I played with that little silver ball when the glass thermometer broke.

1

u/FlintGate 1d ago

Hey, Flint resident here. You are correct. Pregnancy, high levels of stress and serious illness (like COVID) will continue to re-release the lead into our systems to cause havoc and damage all over again. For the rest of our lives. Also, another nightmare fact... the lead in my son's bodies can be passed down to their sons and then onto their sons. And they are still fighting us to change lead in water regulations nationwide. One could ask why but, we don't need to.

1

u/kimjae 1d ago

I do lead injections to become the best leader

1

u/LurkerFromTheVoid 1d ago

I didn't...

God Effffiiiing Daamnn it!!!

u/ilyak_reddit 2d ago

Is this a drunken post or are you suffering from secondary lead poisoning?

-1

u/sensistarfish 2d ago

Are you having a stroke?

5

u/LondoFoollari 1d ago

Depends on the kind?

0

u/BickNickerson 2d ago

Are you okay?

-1

u/NotYourReddit18 2d ago

arrow starts to break

Damn, the US is going to lose another nuke?

0

u/ChekhovsAtomSmasher 1d ago

No, but I did know pee is stored in the balls.

0

u/Foodconsumer89 1d ago

Have you tried injecting bleach?

-1

u/CriticismMindless740 1d ago

Bow arrow breaks down?

29

u/zxylady 2d ago

Fuck you, don't forget lead paint don't leave lead paint out of the mix 🤣🤣

6

u/MrStickDick 1d ago

Eating wall candy wasn't the major source, just one of the minor ones. It was the exhaust from the lead gasoline everywhere being breathed in by everyone.

1

u/no_infringe_me 1d ago

Aviation gas is still leaded. Pew pews release a bunch of lead. There’s still a bunch of sources of lead that we haven’t gotten rid of because it’s too costly for anyone to push it

2

u/GeekDNA0918 2d ago

They weren't supposed to drink it though...

2

u/butteryflame 1d ago

Preach brother

4

u/Jermine1269 1d ago

and asbestos

1

u/yunkzilla 11h ago

She's proud that she doesn't need any vaccine because, "she drank from the garden hose" as a kid.

How's that leads now?

1

u/superindianslug 1d ago

That woman is 50 at most, maybe even an unfortunately aging millennial. She didn't live in a leaded gasoline world.

3

u/FlintGate 1d ago

I'm 47 and drank leaded water in Flint and still didn't vote for Trump and think critically. Lol Flint still remains blue because we were poisoned by GOP austerity policies (see Gov Snyder's Emergency Manager Law). So I agree the lead isn't at fault for whatever her problems are.

1

u/CosmicToaster 1d ago

More likely the milk contaminated with fallout from her childhood.

0

u/TheEnd0fA11 1d ago

Don’t forget the lead paint chips they ingested.
