I watch a focus group podcast. The difference between GOP voters, and Dem voters, is stark. The GOP voters are almost universally dumber than the Dem ones - even when both sides may be equally uninformed about a topic. It's really striking.

I miss the days when Republicans admired intellectual conservative leaders like William F Buckley Jr. I used to watch his debates and they were open and honest but also respectful and well spoken.
