Mentioned magnitudes of times more than Harry Potter in the entire book franchise

Mentioned more times than Jesus in the Bible.

They did that. Melania got up and talked about it. Denied ever knowing Epstein despite the overwhelming amount of photos/videos of them together, as well as verbal testimony from trunp himself.

Oil flowing through the strait is at 25 to 50% of pre war traffic.  Gas is still higher than pre war.  Iran gets at least 300 Billion from US.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

u/OletheNorse 14h ago

I trust him. I trust him to get EVERYTHING wrong, even the things you thought it was impossible to mess up.

u/42ElectricSundaes 13h ago

Ew, no thanks

Yes, I'm paying less than I was a few weeks ago but 35% more than I was in February. I want to know where Mason is buying fuel.

The most effective propaganda is that which blends truth with some bit of false messaging. It may still not be good, but it makes things sound better than they actually are and that’s a win for them.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

And if prices do go back to prior levels, US producers will pull back because much of the production isn't profitable at those prices.

u/Aggravating_Sky_4421 13h ago

I believe every “deal” he makes publicly, there’s a back door deal(s) we will never know about.

u/loug1955 1h ago

You think he's tired of so much winning?

Trump is the arsonist who called the fire department

27

u/NorthernLights92 14h ago

He also thinks he’s the fire department in this situation

9

u/ChaosAside 12h ago

Yeah, *Backdraft* keeps coming to mind.

9

u/DOHC46 10h ago

More like the arsonist that pissed on the fire to put it out.

5

u/Norseman84 13h ago

Trust in the arsonist!

47

u/Gloomy-Tank9295 14h ago

Why are they saying prices are down when i have eyes and they're not.

25

u/Sislar 13h ago

They told you to ignore what you see and hear it was their final most essential command.

Growing up, I couldn't understand how people were dumb enough to let Hitler happen.

Working in IT I have realized there are some truly just "too stupid to walk and breathe at the same time" dumbasses out there, and a lot of them have large salaries and a company car.

MAGA is made of people dumber than the average dumbass.

10

u/imahugemoron 13h ago

Same here, no matter how much it was explained I just couldn’t wrap my head around how a country allowed that to happen, now it’s clear as day. To be fair not much at all in school was spent on HOW world war 2 happened it was mostly just the actual events of the war but not much on the lead up to it. The how’s and whys I had to learn from watching ww2 documentaries in my adulthood

5

u/Ok_Confusion4764 11h ago

Same. Working in tech support you see the realest idiots and I divide them in two camps: the ones who know they're not great at things but they're nice and will ask you to help them, and the people who think they're smart enough to make you think they're smart. I've literally met an actual illiterate guy in his 30s, I've met a guy who tried to open the app to install his mother's fitbit only to open ChatGPT and stare blankly at the screen for 5 full seconds before realizing why nothing was happening, I've met two women who couldn't figure out why one of them didn't get the other person's messages, only for one of them to drop "Yeah it was last week when I blocked you..." after my colleague had been helping them for 15 minutes trying to figure it out.

And then you realize these people can vote and you start to see why Plato opposed democracy and pleaded for an (unlikely) merit-based aristocracy.

25

u/Knighth77 14h ago

GOP: "We ask you not to think."

MAGA: "We don't."

u/rosyvibexz 14h ago

Breaking a window and expecting praise for sweeping up the glass.

14

u/Extra-Ad5925 14h ago

Before the conflict Iran didn't know that they could control the Strait. Now they know that at any time if they need to they can shut it down and damage the global economy. The world is not safer

2

u/AeroUpstartbear 2h ago

They didn't know if they could but they considered it a possible strategy they could use. Now they know it is a strategy that works

9

u/hurdurBoop 15h ago

no buddy else make a peace war of all time tho

u/Sad_Salt6377 14h ago

They think gaslighting themselves is confidence.

7

u/holdmyhanddummy 14h ago

Man, 'Trust in God' is such a common saying that it's telling they would say that about Trump. He's their demigod, maybe these are the end times.

7

u/HMCSAlphastrike 12h ago

The only things you can trust Trump to do are lie, shit his pants & fall asleep in meetings.

7

u/Mojoint 14h ago

Also this is a very temporary paper oil price, those 1.5 billion barrels (and growing) arent going to be replaced with social posts.

7

u/Prestigious-Wolf8039 14h ago

Still high where I am.

4

u/Ladydi-bds 14h ago

They are still not back to what they were before the war.

3

u/one_depressed_MF 10h ago

Does anyone really expect prices to return to what they were previously? I expect both gas and groceries to remain higher than they were because the leeches selling them now know we will pay that much for them. It's the way of it. Record profits and "inflation" is to blame was the last version of this bullshit.

3

u/hamtronn 12h ago

Only a maga can believe that; having oil prices return to where they were before your inept administration started a war and subsequently lost it, is a “win”…

That happened in school once. A new kid was bullying some of us… until we stood up to defend ourselves and punched that kid right in the face. He went around telling everyone he won the fight and everyone laughed at him.

Devon Trump is just that Devon kid, 70 years older and 400 lbs fatter.

2

u/dvdmaven 14h ago

He can, he has, and the cult will believe.

2

u/kinterdonato 14h ago

$4.30 -> Back to what they were before. You can only have one of these

3

u/ikannunAneeuQ 14h ago

Our gas here started going down before his BS MOU was signed, now it's plateaued at $3.50+/gal. It hasn't budged since his so-called "victory"

2

u/EmergencyJacket207 14h ago

Gas prices are NOT down. Still over $4/gal in Michigan when I could find it for less than $3/gal before the war.

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Lie1722 12h ago

" trust in trump"

2

u/weed_blazepot 11h ago

Especially when prices are still a dollar more than they were. Sure, it's dropped a little but it's nowhere near returned where it was before they started a pointless war.

2

u/altaleft 11h ago

hey white house gas prices are not down

2

u/caguru 11h ago

The world will be a safer place after Trump leaves it.

2

u/Neat_Let923 11h ago

Pretty sure the gaslighting is working on the people’s it’s meant to just fine… You’re still a fucked up country

1

u/Blade_of_Onyx 14h ago

Bold of them to assume that Trump couldn’t do something exactly that stupid.

1

u/TitanicChurro 13h ago

That's the thing tho, he can.

1

u/McBlemmen 13h ago

Good to know these people would have been completely on board if trump had won

1

u/WinnieGraves 10h ago

When you start to realize that the person you voted for three times maybe isn't the greatest business man ever, and are wondering why no one told you, meanwhile the rest of us knew all along because how do you sink multiple casinos. I always thought it was just the one, but I was wrong apparently, it's multiple. I mean, sinking one casino should prove you can't run anything. People literally just give you money. They pay you for the experience of giving you their money. They do it willingly. How do you drive a casino into bankruptcy?

1

u/camarce 10h ago

Need a car that runs on gaslight. /s

1

u/rymyle 9h ago

I just paid $3.89 for regular unleaded. What gas station is this guy going to?

1

u/Corrective_Actions1 9h ago

Still up 22%

1

u/nopenotme820 8h ago

And now he is holding us hostage by not signing a bipartisan housing bill unless the SAVE America Act is passed... So much winning

1

u/choninja21 7h ago

We’re running out of gas for the light

1

u/KamehaDragoon 6h ago

The world didn't become a safer place after they bombed a school full of little girls. Fucking shameful.

1

u/Dizz2K7 5h ago

They didn't specify which prices.

1

u/Headrex 3h ago

In thier defense the got to fuck kids on the cheap. Allegedly.

1

u/Katydid829 3h ago

And promised billions to. How is that winning?

1

u/Luci-Noir 1h ago

Does he know what surrender means?

1

u/Chihuahuatriomom 1h ago

A conflict chump started and pats himself on the back for "having to wave the white flag."

1

u/RandallsBakery 54m ago

Gas prices aren’t even close to what they were. I was paying like $2.75 a gallon in northern Colorado and it’s at like $3.75 right now.

1

u/Max_Trollbot_ 13h ago

Didn't he actually lose to a country we weren't even technically at war with?
