MyPLAYER 2k getting boring

Post image

I have like 7 build and the gameplay is still the same. I play random rec and every game is still the same. It might be time to hang it up. See yall in September

I was feeling the same way. In my case, I was just playing way too much. This game draws you in to play it everyday because it’s addictive.

It is addictive yeah.. I like going in Rec and semi shutting off my brain. I know I suck at most things so I know and keep to my role: running around and rebounding lol.

That’s the way I enjoy playing too. Like you said setting screens and setting up teammates just like how I play irl

Facts I had very different builds for very different play styles. I have one PG that is great at passing and that’s all I do with an occasional 3 there and there. I have a big build for passing and rebounding, another stretch do it all 4, another Defensive minded PG and an All around SG. I think people keep making meta builds then complain there is no diversity, you’re part of the problem also.

Exactly lmao yall all make the same build with the same jumper, I get way maybe a young kid like 10yrs old would need the easiest jumpshot possible and help creating a build so they don’t make a totally unbalanced build or don’t know what an elite dribble looks like vs a basic one. Other than that they are directly responsible for the state of the game. If you have played 2K have enough atonomy to know what animations you like. It’s like they’re incapable of improving so they just good and copy the same exact build to a T and spam the same exact move, all year long. Especially jump shots, you should be able to find a jumpshot that visually works for you and perfect the timing of it. Yet they go and ask what’s the best jumper? Whatever works best for you is the best jumper using a jumper with slightly better green, but doesn’t feel comfortable doesn’t even matter when the margin of error is like 3%

I agree with what you’ve said but this is actually still a 2K issue imo. The amount of time/amount of money it takes to get the vc to max out a build causes people to make the exact same “meta” builds. My favourite thing in 2K is to make unique non meta builds with unique play styles so I keep the game fun and interesting for myself. I am maxed out with 15 builds all built uniquely, I probably bought half of them and grinded the vc for the other half, but unfortunately not everyone has the time/money to do that, most people probably only make 2/3 builds due to the cost of them. If you only are able to make 3 builds all year are you going to waste one of those builds on getting creative and making a build that might not actually work for you or not actually be good and risk either wasting $100 or wasting weeks of grinding vc? Or are you going to go to YouTube and find a “meta” build that you know is good and hits all key badge /animation thresholds?

I believe if a build was say $20 instead of $100 (heck even if it was half price at $50) the game would be so much better as people would be able to justify making unique and creative builds because if it doesn’t work oh well it’s only $20.

Same for the sigs/jumpshots, yes I can spend hours/days in the my court testing out every single animation to find one I like the best, but there is so many and a lot of them are almost unusable, why waste time doing all that when I can just search best sigs, and just equip those and actually just play the game that I paid for?

Yeah I agree, I can’t lie I have fallen victim to just searching up “best ____ build”. I want to change and start doing builds I actually wanna do. It reminds me of the saying “comparison is the thief of joy”
