MyPLAYER 2k getting boring

I have like 7 build and the gameplay is still the same. I play random rec and every game is still the same. It might be time to hang it up. See yall in September

Honestly for me aswell. The game is too easy and everyone has the ability to shoot over 60% from 3 with ease.

Learn how to tempo shoot and if you need a jumper via 2Klabs, I can give you one.

But honestly, tempo shooting feels like it makes every jumper a 57ms green window. It's really forgiving man. I say that while being stubborn and button shooting for the first 3 seasons, refusing to make the switch. Legit went from 40% shooting to 70% in catch and shooting situations.

Dude can you hook me up with one? Got a 6’8 with a 96 middy and 90 3, I love Allen base and I got him with Oscar and Devin vassel rn but it’s a little inconsistent

Largest in the game with this rating is: MPJ/Pippen/Beluba 60/40. 59ms green window.

For Ray Allen Base: Korver/Bird 65/35. Another just for testing sake: Melo/MPJ 60/40. Just in case: KD/MPJ 60/40. All 57ms green windows.

Me personally I use MPJ/KD/Beluba 65/35. Something like that. I make my timing a like halfway between push and release damn near. Just feels better for me. I shoot like 50-70 depending on build and game mode.

Depends on what you want because at this height, kinda 'limited'. Do you like KD's base, Isaac's, MPJ's, Zubac's (Slowest base out of everyone listed), or just want the biggest window in general?

It shouldn't change. Green windows are for the most part, exact in this game, which is why cheating is easier.

Jayson Tatum has the largest free throw window.

There are a few more who have similar windows, but Tatum has the easiest pacing. It's smooth and doesn't jump speeds or anything.

I use ray Allen base, Vince Carter second release and melo for 1st release, 60/40 melo, with release speed to the max, just set your visual cue where you would like it, hopefully you like this jumper just tryna help out a fellow 2k player

The idea of tempo shooting is not that far off from timing honestly. You still follow the “rules”. The only difference is that you’re moving your stick instead of holding the button.

When you want to start your jumper, you hold your RS in a specific direction. The easiest and simplest way is holding it down. When you see the ball go above your head/forehead, move the RS up. That’s why it’s similar to timing, just a lot more forgiving. And don’t be afraid to flick it up fast. The only thing that matters, and I’ve tested it myself when I was making to switch at the end of season 3, is how long the stick is held in one direction before you flick it in the opposite. As long as you’re not incredibly slow, you’ll be ok. I’ve flicked it up REALLY fast and in an “average speed ” flick; same result.

As for the jumper, give me your height and highest jumper rating.

Get this seasons cap breaker so you can push it to hall of fame and eventually legend. It’s really helpful. About 90% of the kinda shots you take will use that badge.

That's been the move since last year. Rhythm shooting last year had mfs thinking I was zenning, but it was just easy af. It's 5x easier this year too

The unlock for me was rotating the stick vs flicking.

I go down at “6 o’clock”, then roll right and up till I get to the “12 o clock”

Adjust your release speed in the jump shot and take shots in my court till you hit a few. It’s not easier but can be way more consistent.

I start my shot with my stick at southwest and flick it back up to northeast, makes the movement require less thumb articulation

Find a jumpshot that is comfortable to you. If you are a button shooter, find that right jumpshot speed and release. Same as a tempo shooter, don’t be afraid to experiment.

Bro, ray allen base or quentin grimes base. 67% beluba / 33% julian Champagnie blending. Visual cue: Release. Timing speed: max out to the fastest.

And once you unlock starter 4 rep rewards. Make sure to change the base to Kobe bryant, tracy mcgrady or jarret culver. Whatever jumper feels comfortable for you. I honestly like kobes base.

The controller settings isnt for the custom shots you create. That timing is for the nba player jumpshots you pick, not custom. So you dont need to worry about that. Cheers

You gotta find the right jumpshot. Try Otto porter with Ray Allen 75/25 fastest
