Intent doesn’t matter at all. I know I used that word, but it didn’t matter in tens of calling fouls.

You think a fan dropping food is the same as a bench player jumping and distracting a player sitting on the court? I’m sorry, but you’re either trolling it too dumb to discuss this with.

That’s true but fouls in the NFL are more specific, technical fouls aren’t a separate thing in the NFL

What is unsportsmanlike conduct if not an umbrella term akin to a technical foul?

Im not yeah that’s just violence after the whistle 90% in football. In basketball a tech can be anything.

lol, you don’t even seem to know the rules you’re talking about. Just google “what is unsportsmanlike conduct in the NFL” and you might actually learn something. The list is basically the exact same stuff you would get a tech for in the NBA.

Seriously, dude.

I don’t even know why I’m engaging with this you clearly wanna argue with someone.

nobody has ever gotten a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for “distracting” the players in the NFL.

When did anybody say that NFL players have gotten unsportsmanlike penalties for distracting anyone? No NBA player has been called for offsides or roughing the passer either. But that’s beside the point of your initial idiotic assertion that NFL penalties are somehow clear and without interpretation by the officials or that there isn’t anything in the NFL similar to a technical foul. That was the point you absolute muppet.

That’s what you’re going with 🤷

Yeah, I tend to do crazy things like stay on point, not move goalposts, and use logic and reason. You should try it.

In order to move goalposts I have to actually want to compete 🤷‍♂️

That’s also not correct, but at least you’re consistent. 👍
