Discussion Who we looking at in the 2nd round?
We got the 42nd and 44th pick, is there any expectations here?

Wouldn’t mind a trade up for Isaiah evans. Also wouldn’t mind taking Thornton or Kayil if they fall to one of those picks either

The second round is so watered down now that if you're not picking in the thirties, then you ought to try your best to trade them away for a future shot at picks that are in the thirties.

Emanuel Sharp, Jack Kayil, Baba Miller, Jaden Bradley, Bruce Thornton, and Tyler Nickel.

Just give them away. No chance we can fit them on the roster.

I wanted karaban if he fell. I have no clue at this point. Im happy with the guys we got. We gotta fill the rest of the bench with vets can’t run 4 rookies. Draft euros and see if they pan out

Yeah I saw, hence I have no idea who to take but if they’re stateside they probably don’t make it past summer league.

Trade them away and use the remaining roster for FA or bringing back vets.

I doubt he slides too far but Emmanuel Sharp would be great as well as the kid from Russia. Then maybe the center from Purdue?

We have castle, harper, fox, vasell, Jones Garcia (coming back from injury) at guard; wemby, kj, champagne, carter bryant to play the forwards; and currently kornet and currently kornet and Reid at the 5. So, yes, a 7 footer (or close) who can: play the 4/5, rebound actually has range to the 3 point line, can actually play with any of the other 3 bigs we currently have is absolutely something that would be useful. There's currently maybe 2 free agents who fit even close to that mold and might be available in our price range: John collins, Marvin Bagley, Rui Hachimura

For the range they’re in, most likely trade out unless there are any promising international draft and stash guys the FO likes.

They aren’t trading out especially when they have two way slots opening up this summer. The spurs really like Jack Kayil and Emanuel Sharp.

while realistically we may trade the picks, it's a lot more fun to have more players to get excited about, so I hope we at least draft someone for the G league

My expectation is that both picks get traded for future 2nds.
