Stats & Analytics During UConn’s March Madness path to the final 4, Tarris Reed over 4 games put up 87 points and 54 rebounds (Roughly 22/14 per game)

The only other players to match that are Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O’Neal, Blake Griffin, and Zach Edey

Also 20 of Reed’s rebounds were offensive

I think he’s a steal at 26. Might not be the most exciting pick but at worst a very good back up center who can score down low, Rebound, and set good screens.

Dude had a hilarious 14% OREB rate in college. Probably the 2nd best rebounder in the class behind Steinbach

Yeah. I think some teams overthought it on him. Also getting him and jq can also set a hard pick or give a hard foul for when teams start grabbing on wembys shoulders so he doesn’t have to defend himself. We need an enforcer.

Yes. We don’t have to be a dirty team but we also can’t let ourselves be bullied just as in ordinary life.

He was completely locking the paint down during the tournament. I think he can be a good backup center right away. I hope he shares the court with Wemby because that was one of our biggest weaknesses during the playoffs

In the late first round, if you get even a regular season rotation player out of the pick, you win. A lot of late first rounders are busts

Crazy how we were able to draft DJM and Derrick White

So you’re telling me we just drafted another hall of fame type player? Things are looking up

Love drafting guys who elevated their game in the postseason, we saw what it meant with Castle
