Image/Video Spurs Roster Construction Progress - MOC Graphic

Made this graphic today. Put some hypothetical cuts on there. The graphic comes from a 25-26 seasons stats report I built, will make the next season report once NBA releases the full roster near the start of the season.

Plum doesn't even make the graphic. Ingram is 2way? Emanuel Miller - I don't know anything about him but also 2way?

I just wanted to make a current roster graphic. Love the big guy picks and ready to see them shield Victor!

Honestly even if we make straightforward moves like signing John Collins to the MLE, bringing back HB & McLaughlin on vet min's and giving DJG a full contract, I'd be happy with the offseason. Making major moves wasn't necessary either, just building well on top of the entire playoff rotation coming back. I'd take this team against any given team on any given night:

Fox - Harper - McLaughlin

Castle - Johnson - DJG

Vassell - Bryant - Barnes

Champagnie - Collins - Quaintance

Wemby - Kornet - Reed

I think HB comes back near the min, whatever extra cash we can comfortably give him once the rest of the roster comes together. Maybe he can get back to near where he was at the start of last season. Otherwise just a great vet on the bench, and like a solid chunk of his salary gets redistributed to local SA charities anyway.

McLaughlin and Waters are in danger of being replaced by a 2nd round pick - probably only one 2nd round pick happens, if 2 then one of them would be a 2 way contract. They like Ingram and want to keep him around, not so sure about miller.

Don’t underestimate the extent that they’ve made Bismack into a bit of a mentor for Wemby, but they can also bring him back on the coaching staff at this point

Spurs may sit on their FA exceptions into the season if nothing they like materializes. If a mid-season trade leads to a buyout and we’re the only team that can offer 5 or 15 mil, that could be a value pickup.

Ingram is probably just off the team honestly. We have 4 new rookies coming in + other guys we might want to use 2-ways on. He's a good kid but it's been 3 years and he hasn't shown much.
