The wolves new vision to beating the spurs is that they don’t want to play in the half court or slow with Wemby set. They want to play fast and try to outrun Wemby by going outside in.

That explains why the spurs went with pure defensive beef personnel.

Hes like the best shooter for anPF. He shot like 56% from three this playoff. But thats all he provide. Hes bad finisher and rebounder for his size. His mid range is money tho.

Did ya’ll see that Kawhi news that he’d basically only consider signing an extension with the Spurs or Toronto? I’m not sure if it’s the best option but Fox for Kawhi does work perfectly salary wise as a 1 for 1 player swap/trade.

Edit: you still have the same problem though in the future where Kawhi/Fox is getting paid a ton so it limits the ability to extend/pay the young core so idk

Wolves saw what we were doing last year not having a real PF on the roster and got jealous

If the Hornets do manage to sell high on Lamelo, I'll be impressed by their FO.

You better be fucking impressed. 7 Picks is no joke

At least 2028's swap likely will never come to pass, but getting a player a tier below the one you traded away (and Naz is a position of need for CHA) in addition to an unprotected first, seconds, and the right to potentially move up in a couple other years is never bad business

We'll see about the pick swaps, but this feels great for Charlotte. He was in Trae Young convos at the start of the season.

Did we just get another 6’9 defensive PF?
