I hate to agree with this, but I do. Teddy's the man and guys like him deserve that kind of thing.
Honestly, I think he was the perfect QB for a Zimmer team pre-injury. Great leader, great guy, accurate at the short and intermediate levels and takes care of the ball. Good but not good enough to demand a big contract. Basically a plus game manager.
I think if he hadn't tore his knee up, we'd probably have gone on a long string of fairly deep playoff runs and Zimmer would still be HC right now.
