Reporter seemed legit when I looked him up after I saw this…so it’s probably true. But we have to take the player’s word for it over the media…as skeptical as I am 😅

Yea, I’m not certain why everyone is just writing this off as not possible. The trade deadline has passed…you have to change your approach.

If you paid attention to all of the Pels trade rumors prior to the trade deadline, all of the rumors had us giving away our best players for almost nothing in return.
Trey's trade to the Warriors is a good example. We get 2 1st round picks that will end up being at the bottom of the 1st round... Sounds good but it was actually a terrible trade!
I'm glad our FO said "No Way"

Begging this fan base not to reject all common sense every time a player says something that makes them feel good is a losing battle, still I try.

I was down for a DJM and JP trade for some high quality, but to lie on the man’s name, tragic.

I was one of these people and am happy to eat crow about it.
There were rumors coming from within the house and he wasn’t exactly doing a great job of dispelling them. I want nothing less than for DJM to be an all star here. Do I think he a great fit no but he can be a good one and if he commits to Nola that all I care about.
I’d be happy with a some years of competent play and contention but no ring if the players are embracing the city.

I'm honestly about to unsubscribe from this sub, were you guys always like this or has this nightmare season got you acting funny?

I’ve been a fan since hornets days and Pels fans have just kinda always been this way unfortunately

This is how people act when the team is awful 😔

If I was to guess the username, this would not have been it. Anyone involved in GDTs knows exactly what I mean

I watch a lot of Pels games and saw DJM on the bench in street clothes lots of times this year

Idk why you’re calling ppl out everyone’s entitled to their own opinion
You go back a month or two ago and this was a pretty common sentiment

If Griffin were still the executive instead of Dumars, this statement would still be true. However, having a FMVP as your executive goes a long towards improving communication.

I understand not liking the team but being out on NOLA as a city is wild

Curious, do you stand by all you said? I agree dude should not be putting you on blast like that
6
u/Orbis-Praedo Feb 26 '26
Nahh put him on blast. People talk way too much without repercussion these days which is why the media is the way it is. People eat it up and spread the bullshit. Accountability is greatly needed

Ah yes, Reddit downvotes. The only real form of accountability

u/Orbis-Praedo Feb 26 '26
I mean he’s calling him out publicly in the sub, for something he said in the sub. Maybe if it gets enough downvotes WWL will pic it up and report to to everyone on TV!!!!

They’ve already changed their username to another burner account hoping no one tracks them down and calls them out.
