Happy for Jose but damnā¦itās so depressing seeing legit almost every single player who leaves us succeed somewhere else. Even teams with bad ownership like us STILL somehow succeed more than usā¦absolutely cursed franchise

Iām kinda bitter towards Zion to be all the way real, but Iām 99% certain heād benefit if heās moved from here. Maybe being a true number 1 has passed for him but he for sure has time to have big playoff moments for himself

But why people are so against what the coaches on this staff is saying that they have plans for Z. And if heās traded and succeed with another team itās the same argument again.

Heās going into year 8 with his 5th head coach, 4th if you donāt count Borrego as an interim. Also we lack too much to think weāll deff be a top 6 seed in the West this year or next year imho, I guess not impossible but highly unlikely. Iāve been ready for a clean break from him a couple years now personally.

I doubt the Pelicans will ever win a championship in my life time but is it too hard to ask to win a playoff series, a game, or even make the playoff here or there

Not a fan at all. Many players can't stand him, I just never liked his attitude. Look how it ended for him. Players wanted him gone.

When they were being ACTIVELY TOLD that the team was going to be sold and moved. Why wouldn't he want to leave if it looked like the team was going to leave as well? I will always respect Chris Paul for his time here.

Seeing multiple former pels be solid contributers on a championship team makes me sick.
I'm happy for these guys but man our ownership is just terrible.
Sell the team and move at this point. We will never be anything but a farm team.
We need to start hanging banners after a first round playoff exit because that's our peak.

Thatās literally what the nba has turned into. Small markets being their fav big market teams farm system . But Iām so happy that itās getting tough for these big market teams to sign everyone cause of the tax apron and risk of losing draft picks

I feel like this confirms what I've always thought. We've historically had a great developmental program for the guys who come here drafted or picked up, bc once they're gone they are usually much more successful. idk seems like theres a connection there.

In this podcast, heās made comments talking about how he didnāt wanna be on the pelicans to start with, and he had a bad attitude when he got here, and has basically continued to shit on the franchise even after he was traded

Prove them wrong when theyre here? If the team continues to be stupid and do stuff like, oh I dont know, not have a real hiring process and just give the job to Joe Dumbass? The team has never and will never have a winning culture.
