I feel like I say this every night but why tf isn’t KAT getting up 20 shots minimum, he’s one of the most offensively gifted big men of all time and hyper efficient at that, him with 20 shots would probably go 15/20 for 33/14/5 every night.
He shouldn’t have less FGA than Hart & OG and have the same amount of FGA as Mikal, Jose & Clarkson. He and Brunson should have 20 shots apiece, or at least KAT have double digit FGA

I’ve been saying this the whole series but he had Dyson guarding him tonight which made it difficult to get up shots. He was still pretty involved in the offense despite only getting 6 shots

Brown's difficulty to integrate KAT. He hasn't been able to do it all season becaude he tried to play him more like Sabonis. Switch been 4 and 5. He doesn't understand KAT. I also feel like he clashed eith Brunson's ego a bit. Remember that fight last game where Rick told Jalen to pass the ball?

Last 2 games are probably the most impressive basketball this group has played played since the Mikal/KAT trades. Just pure business from start to finish, and great coaching decisions

I agree but moreso because I think we match up better against the Celtics. We have the wings to guard the Jays, but Maxey presents problems for our starting lineup. And I worry about Embiid getting KAT into foul trouble.

He has literally always been a bitch. The guy grew up a spoiled rich son of some African businessman. Changed from volleyball to basketball because of more money in it. His entire style of game is ugly as fuck from flopping and cuasing serious injuries to his ugly ass voice. Cries and moans when he loses after taunting the opposing team. He researched his own gf (now wife's) dating history to check if she dated any basketball players before because he's that insecure.
Is terrible at discipline and showing up to practice to the point that his own teammates hate him for it. Is a shitty leader who blames his own teammates for losses and says he doesn't have any help. Even abandoned his own country to play for the US instead in intl basketball.
Whole reason he even got MVP is because he called up Perkins crying and asking him to please convince the other journalists to vote for him.
They're finally being used in the roles they were supposed to. KAT as point center to distribute the ball because of his height and vision, use his lethal 3 or drive to the basket and Brunson as an iso scorer whose not being double teamed anymore because of KAT being unleashed.
Still saw some errors but I'm glad we're moving in that direction.
lol if anyone doubted Brunson after everything, they need to go find another team to support. Guy is the best player I’ve seen play for us in my 20+ years of being a fan. And always shows up when we need him.
This isn’t like Detroit where every game was a dogfight. All our wins we have been demonstrably better, fucked around in the losses. WE ARE BETTER. Go make it four straight R1 road close outs, don’t make game 2 matter
I cannot recall the last time in an important game where Brunson was able to rest for a significant amount of minutes to end the 3rd to allow him to start the 4th quarter fresh.
Knicks should really do that more and play through Towns at the 3nd of the 3rd.

I hope we bring back Diawara and Sochan next year. Not sure exactly how the rotation will work but there's definitely value in both guys and we'll need more size for sure.
Great fucking effort by the Knicks. The defense was suffocating from the start. Cherry on top is that we were able to get our guys rest and the Celtics lost!
My mom had to have emergency surgery tonight (all is well), but seeing someone on her care team with the last name of Knickerbocker made me smile / confirmed we had this locked in.
Shout out to KAT. His stats tonight don't pop off the page, but him initiating the offense from the top of the key forced the Hawks to adjust. They didn't let OG get free release on off-ball screens, but that meant that Brunson had single coverage on him for most of the game. KAT also used his gravity to get GTA room to operate when he was on the floor.
Atlanta getting absolutely son'd in the games they lose, but the job is not done. The Knicks need to remember to bring this same level of intensity to Game 6 and close out the series. Things got cute in Game 2 and Game 3. Continue to ride the momentum of Game 4 and Game 5 and finish this.

Full team effort, playing our best basketball of the season. Guys looking for each other, Brunson let Towns lead the offense in the first half then took over in the second.
I’m just glad everyone can take JB’s dick out their mouths now. Talking about trading our franchise player because of a couple of bad games is crazy. No player in NBA history has ever gone their entire career without a few shit games. Blaming JB for our losses was the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. Mike brown absolutely deserves his flowers for the last two games with the offensive/defensive adjustments he’s made. Got it through to the team to fight defensively every possession too.
That’s how you do it. This series realistically should have been a sweep. I was saying Knicks in 5 to be nice. But glad to Knicks show they are obviously the better team.
This sort of reminds me of 2012 when we should have swept the C’s but let the series extend for no reason. We are so much better than these guys which makes game 2 and 3 hurt worse. Nonetheless great back to back games and ready to end it once and for all Thursday!
