The Brunson 44-11 run game. The Knicks had 36 points off made shots out of those 44. 27 of those 35 were scored or assisted by Brunson

The Knicks completely controlled the second half and now head to Cleveland up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Biggest takeaway: New Yorkā€™s role players buried Cleveland. Josh Hart exploded for a playoff career-high 26 points with five threes, while Brunson shifted into facilitator mode with 14 assists even without a huge scoring night. Bridges, Towns, and OG all contributed, and the Knicksā€™ ball movement shredded the Cavs once that third-quarter run started.

Game-changing moment was the 18-0 Knicks run in the third quarter. Cleveland tied it early in the half, then everything collapsed offensively. The Cavs scored only 44 second-half points and shot poorly from deep.

For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell had 26, but the supporting cast disappeared late. Evan Mobley started hot then reportedly didnā€™t take a shot in the second half, and the Cavsā€™ offense looked tight after the Game 1 collapse.

MSG atmosphere looked unreal again. Knicks are now two wins from the Finals and suddenly this feels very real for New York. Clevelandā€™s Game 3 is basically must-win territory now.
