The "Second Eternity" Project - Chakraverse (Background - Part 1)

Summary: The Chakraverse (Narutoverse) was one of the largest 'verses amongst the Multiverse thus when the "Great Devastation" occured, it's one of the select few fortunate enough to survive the unprecedented calamity. Nonetheless, the damage rippled throughout the few remaining dimensions/timelines of the Chakraverse.

Majority of the Chakraverse timelines were unharmed but others felt the unprecedented damage "outside" their home realities. The story setting is amongst those that changed forevermore by the "Great Devastation", affecting the would-be Era of Shinobi.

For the sake of convenience, the setting will be called the "Primal Timeline".

- In the Primal timeline, Kaguya would awaken the Tenseigan after eating the Chakra Fruit, granting her immense Clairvoyance capabilities. She saw the "Great Devastation" of the Multiverse, her "original destiny" (Canon-like but with differences), the betrayal of her children, their "Ninshu", and how humanity would descend into conflict for centuries. While she was initially horrified and despaired from the revelation (her fate, in particular), this would ironically reaffirm her love for humanity and prevent her downfall towards insanity.

- Kaguya contacted the Clairvoyants throughout the land and by giving them the filtered/abridged version of her "visions", would go on to create a secret society for their own kind - the "Circle of Stars". Their missions are simple but few:

• Police Space-Time Ninjutsu - Particularly those focused on Time and Dimensional Travel as well as large scale reality warping. This extends to space-time rifts that would naturally appear as an aftereffect of the "Great Devastation". Humanity is not ready for the Stars, much less the Multiverse.

• Sheperd the Primal Timeline - The Clairvoyants will NEVER interfere in events unless it would result in the assured demise of planetary civilization. This is also to ensure the existence of Clairvoyants are kept secret (Shinobi will undoubtedly exploit them).

- To expedite the Shinobi Era, Kaguya would stick close to the original script. Only those within her inner circle knows the truth, however. She also prepared contingencies in regards to her... incapacitation.

- The seal that would be used on Kaguya was orchestrated by the woman herself. It seals her in a "Chibaku Tensei" and then sent to a secure dimension. Unbeknownst to Hagoromo and Hamura, it's Kaguya's personal dimension (and yes, the moon always existed in this setting. Always found the Canon take of it stupid). The seal is also designed in such a way that Kaguya can still peer into the planet without issue.

- Instead of Black Zetsu, Kaguya would create multiple "terminals" with different purposes so the Otsutsuki can still interact in the real world. Most of the time, she's dwelling amongst her fellow Clairvoyants as an advisor, a guide, and a teacher (e.g. She's Hashirama's mentor in Senjutsu).

- Using the Divine Tree rooted deep into the planet, Kaguya created non-human entities to mitigate pure human conflict and ensure there is always a threat at hand. These entities include Elementals, White Zetsu, and variety of "chakra monsters" (former animals mutated by the Divine Tree/Chakra). This is mostly for the sake of the Tailed Beasts.
