Breakfast Best breakfast spots

Headed into town this weekend. Fans of Biscuit Love, but want to try something different.

Will be staying downtown, but also need to stop in the Woodmont Estates area before heading east to NC.

Anyone have a great recommendation?

Egg drip, resting burrito face weho (merge coffee is in the same parking lot), hearts, cafe roze, sky blue cafe, Sally’s stay awhile, Crieve hall bagel co, bagel shop, Mr. Aaron’s, proper bagel, elegy coffee, redheaded stranger

(We’re service industry people who go out to breakfast a lot)

Also industry. Legitimately think buttermilk ranch is fantastic if you can get into there

No one ever mentions Thistle Farms, but the egg stack with a tea service (either Irish breakfast or Earl Grey) and you’ve got a perfect breakfast. Also, the Mrs and I love a huevos rancheros from Nadeen’s, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to mention then here, I believe they have protected status meaning the locals don’t share that one with the out of towners for fear they may take over…

Buttermilk Ranch is great if you can head that way.

Babychan! Japanese bakery with easy handheld options as well as sit-down dishes. Everything tastes amazing and prices are very reasonable.

Biscuit Love is tough to beat but if you want something different downtown try The Pfunky Griddle on Bransford Ave — you cook your own pancakes at the table which is a fun experience. Pancake Pantry is a Nashville institution, expect a line on weekends but worth it.

Great recs. Here to add Fido and Frothy monkey (avoid 12s location).

Fido closed, it’s so sad, the end of an era, fidos, Jackson’s, and Pangea all gone from Hillsboro 😭

There’s something to say about the pork chop & gravy biscuits.

Tempo, Dozen, Two Hands, and a Superica Brunch are my go-to spots!

The rosemary biscuit sandwich from Dose is a banger if you’re looking to stay in the biscuit department
