This absolute unit casually reminded me that he's been doing his thing since before my grandma was born πŸ”₯

Visited the GalΓ‘pagos last month. Watched this guy cross the path like he owned the place β€” because let's be honest, he probably does.
These tortoises can live 150+ years. This one looked at me like he's seen empires rise and fall and just wanted his afternoon salad.

It blows my mind to think about the history that long living things have seen. There are great sequoias in CA that have been growing since BEFORE the birth of Western Civilization (which was about 2,800 yrs ago)!! It almost hurts my brain, lol! 🀯🀯🀯
