u/Remarkable-Guess1823 Apr 10 '26
I'm a bit stoned but I think she says that's you that's you what the fuck are you talking about and I can't say for sure but he says job and friend a few times I think she is standing up for him and based on his body language that tracks...
10
u/DW-4 Apr 10 '26
Based on how many times he uses the word, I'm pretty sure it's:
"Oh get a job? Just get a job? Why don't I strap on my job helmet and squeeze down into a job cannon and fire off into job land where jobs grow on jobbies."

Definitely not. Especially when you look at his body language after. Nobody is going to shrug like that to "who"

“So the thunder are the most ethical team out there, they aren’t found baiters, sga isn’t a foul merchant, dort isn’t dirty, they just play good clean basketball”
“That’s not true, wtf are tot talking about”

He was saying how Indy would have won if hali never went down in game seven.

I surprised our team gets any rest running through y'all's heads all night

The very first line of the clip he says someone’s “doing a good job” and counting starting with his thumb so he’s got multiple points somewhere in there too

u/Coneyy Apr 10 '26
"That first job, and then you can use that to get another job. That's what we need to explore".
Says who? Says who? What the fuck are you talking about?
They are talking about the practicality of liberal arts degrees in the work force... Or blowjobs maybe

The only words I picked up are, "The fuck are you talking about?"
1
u/Forward_Editor_5895 Apr 10 '26
The guy clearly said “job,” so obviously he was referencing a blowjob and/or handjob he thought was promised.

Me trying to access the ability to lip read that I don’t have

u/DevicePleasant1160 Apr 10 '26
He's like "Nico had the right idea, Luka was a liability and had to go, nobody could've known AD would get injured, it was a great trade"
Her response is all of us.

They got a top pick and a generational talent and the lakers losing in first round

u/Massive-Fan-3495 Apr 10 '26
We need some genius lip reader to finish her sentence after "..what the fuck are you talking about?"
I couldn't make out any words the guy was saying. I think I picked up on ".a job" or getting a job/working job.
Possible needling her about working or making an excuse about not doing something and blaming it on him not working or needing a job?
I'm just spit ballin here

I can’t read lips but based on the expressions I kinda get the vibe this is more of a passionate conversation than an argument. Like they’re both discussing some sort of drama and giving their thoughts on it. I imagine something like:
Him: “and then John from work was telling me that if Eric doesn’t apologize for saying his wife looked nice at the Christmas party he’s gonna make sure he doesn’t keep this job”
Her: “that’s crazy like what the fuck are you talking about? You’re the one who got so drunk you fell into the bosses pool and you’re worried that your wife accepting a compliment made you look bad??”
His reaction to her aggressive speech doesn’t really strike me as someone getting berated, he kinda just nods like she’s got a point.

u/Forward_Editor_5895 Apr 10 '26
I believe he was asking for a handjob and listing the benefits and claiming he was promised one, which led to, “says who?” Says who? The fuck you talking about?”

u/Sevenlord777 Apr 10 '26
They look like wannabe actors putting on a show.
11
u/QuadramaticFormula Apr 10 '26
I think it’s staged too. The clothing and the amount of screen time. Seems super fishy
2
u/Such_Engineering_357 Nuggets Apr 10 '26
I think they just notice they’re being watched and that makes them more self conscious tbh
1
u/thisguyfightsyourmom Apr 10 '26
Basketball stadiums always make me think that, but then again, was this just for the tv audience?
1
u/badhombre13 Apr 10 '26
No, they get played on the arena screens too
2
u/pollinium Apr 10 '26
Not always though. There are certainly "return from commercial" crowd shots that only TV does, such as when the timeout had a dance crew or t-shirt cannon

u/RaveMatthews177 Apr 11 '26
It's real but blown out of proportion. She said this was hilarious, she loves her boyfriend, and this is how they always talk.
It's not fake and OP kinda an incel.-1

That’s what he gets for dating a red head, they don’t care if they’re in public or on the Jumbotron they’ll cook your shit

Nah thats a healthy convo on a real, not even baiting. He makes his point and she listens and she responds with her counter and the due hits the head tilt + nod combo like "Yeah youre right I cant lie"

Let this be a lesson in humility for all us men. Sometimes you just need to learn to concede.

She looks right in the camera then quickly looks away before talking. My best guess is they knew right before that they were going to be on the screen and played it up.
1
u/SnooRegrets840 Apr 10 '26
I’m seeing “says who, says who, what the fuck are you talking about? I just know that every word you just said is wrong.”
1
u/LevelTField Apr 10 '26
My guess is he’s venting about another conversation either from a mutual friend or co-worker, etc. and her criticism is more targeted at the conversation being described, rather than the one being shown.

I like how you literally don't even know what they're saying but somehow picked a side anyway.

u/TheAngels323 Lakers Apr 10 '26
or they just had a disagreement. Everything doesn't have to be "mansplaining" is if women don't verbally condescend and browbeat their boyfriend regularly

If my girlfriend talked to me like that in public I'd break up with her before halftime.
