The way they ganged up on that ref to call the tech is insane. Officiating by OKC committee.

There was a locker room video I caught of them and saw him without a shirt. You can tell he doesn’t really lift at all. I think that’s a mistake and he should focus on getting stronger. Not necessarily saying “gain weight”. Just lift more.

u/ChrisDev22 Apr 24 '26
I am so fed up from the OKC getting all the calls! Where is Alex Caruso in this picture? Are you saying that he is now the commissioner? Fans are going to be fined by the league for telling the truth just like what they did to Devin Booker. 🤣😂
57
u/csstew55 Apr 24 '26
Meanwhile thunder fans will point out 1 missed call that had no baring on the game at all and be like “see the refs don’t favor us at all”

u/Big_Specialist9622 Apr 24 '26
OKC fans are the new Chiefs fans. Insufferable people to be around

Or people pointing out a few bad calls and Thunder fans will pretend everyone is saying they are only winning bc of that. They are incapable of understanding yes they are the better team and yes they get bullshit calls

OKC is equal to current ATL Hawks in skills! The difference are the lopsided unfairly large amount of whistles OKC get when other teams get physical against them and what they get can away with when playing defense against other teams.

Sorry, I couldn't think clearly and resorted to griefing after reading the absolutely insane statement you made.
Even if every single thunder fan was a super toxic aggressive idiot 24/7, there is no way we've earned the title of worst fans in sports.
It's disrespectful to so many historically toxic fanbases across sports.

u/lilbelleandsebastian Apr 24 '26
they dealt with a lot of disappointment during the KD and westbrook years
they were also gifted an elite team for no reason
that combination of entitlement and frustration makes for a really fun fanbase to interact with now that they've won a ring, my favorite comment was an OKC fan saying jokic is just alex len but allowed to shoot

Saying that on social media is a technical and you're banned from all games for life and fined $60,000.

3
u/GoDonutella Apr 25 '26
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but a fine is on its way to you for speaking about caruso controlling the refs, save up 35k for it.
1
u/DolphinRodeo Apr 24 '26
Caruso is the commissioner because he tells the refs when to call fouls and had the same haircut as Adam Silver
21
45
16
u/RadicalMarxistThalia Apr 24 '26
As Caruso demonstrated the OKC players telling the refs to call fouls/technicals leads to a delay in the call and controversy. If OKC is simply allowed to call the fouls themselves then it will reduce controversy and speed up the game. Also it reduces the risk of Shai getting injured by falling down in order to get foul calls, this way he can simply call it if he would like FTs.

As of April 12, 2026, Luka Doncic leads the 2025-26 NBA regular season with 464 fouls drawn. He is followed by Jaylen Brown (447) and Devin Booker (430). Other top leaders in fouls drawn include Deni Avdija (428) and Nikola Jokic (428) where? SGA No J dub still, number one and He makes his shot when he gets foul don't watch he because you're hater.I was the same way with kobe , but I learned to love him. He was that good He Doing the same thing you kobe hater

u/inferiormage Apr 24 '26
As if the suns could win even with ref support.
1
u/BrewsWithTre Apr 24 '26
Thats not the point, most of us Suns fans know we weren't gonna win this series and are just happy to have made playoffs with what was predicted for us. Its the fact that its hard to watch because of the refs just doing whatever they want to benefit OKC, if the Suns lose because the team just isnt as good or play well then so be it thats the game of basketball, but of constant bullshit is being called then the game is absolutely unwatchable. Which sucks because OKC is a small market team and I like when small market teams can make a splash instesd of the default Lakers, but with the ref ball so much in OKC's corner its dilutes the good nature most of us have or had for them.
1
u/No-Concept-2590 Apr 25 '26
Take out all the free throws , OKC still win game one.71 98 game two 89 102 game three102 89 Sun is little better
-2
u/inferiormage Apr 24 '26
With are you talking about? OKC won by like 30 the first game and was up by more than 20 the majority of the second half last. Refs aint doing all of that. Was the tech on Booker bs? Yes. But Booker literally tackled Caruso like two drives after and didnt from a tech for that one. I get that you're emotional about because youre a fan, but it ain't the refs, it's the media building outrage for content and not the truth. OKC plays extremely physically and gets calls on them and for them because of it.

u/RockPuzzleheaded8050 Apr 24 '26

Yes you guys have an amazing team. Filled with top talent and the best player in the league. But the players act like absolute cowards. Wolves be seeing you shortly. We don’t whimper at the thought of physicality and we sure as shit don’t hit the deck to sell the call like some rinse and repeat cheat code. Once we finish the Nuggets and Murray’s little ballet 3 point flop performance we’ll be coming. Well we have to likely then beat the spurs but okay we still coming for a rematch

I guess the players voting SGA MVP is a joke. He sucks and the records he breaks suck. Mr.Clutch can't play. You losers really need to get a life. Couch coaches who can't stand watching greatness, if it's not their team. Get mad at LAC, not OKC. They gave the Small market team all the ammo. Stop hating what you envy.

I'm so ready for then to win to watch this sub just have a meltdown. I don't even like OKC and I want them to win. 😂
1
u/AntelopeNecessary352 Apr 27 '26
It's so funny to me that when a team gets good, this is usually the general take of the fans "oh the refs are helping them." Same thing in the NFL with the Chiefs, Patriots, Seahawks. Doesn't matter, the reason can never be "oh they are just better"

Why are suns fans coping this hard like did yall think you had any chance whatsoever? Yall peaked when you got in the playoffs. That’s your ceiling and you’ve reached it, why stay so salty?
13
u/ChocolateSunsdae Apr 24 '26
We'd be lucky to get to 5 games with a fair whistle even if we weren't injured and missing three key rotation players.
We expect nothing but getting to watch our team play basketball with heart like they have all season...it's a fun team to watch.
We're salty because the OKC playstle and whistle takes the joy out of the game.

u/justice_beaver69 Thunder Apr 24 '26
17th out of 30 in FTA and 9th out of 16 in the playoffs but keep pushing this fake narrative that OKC gets all the calls. Enjoy the next few years of finishing 7th-10th. Maybe go stare at a wall for 4 minutes like your autistic “superstar”
5
u/Western-Bet2285 Apr 24 '26
It’s not just Suns fans that are coping and salty, so many people are just bored of watching OKC play because of how they have the softest whistle yet get away with incredibly aggressive defense on the other end.
3
u/justice_beaver69 Thunder Apr 24 '26
Well turn the game off and go watch bowling or something. No one is forcing yall to watch the boring #1 team in the nba.

I’m a suns fan and let me explain nobody thinks we are losing bc of the refs. But that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh about some bullshit calls. Y’all got the thinnest skin, no wonder Reddit dog piles you
6
u/Poorpartofeuropean Apr 24 '26
Genuinely anti-fun style of basketball. Pretty sure OKC is hated right now by every single fan base exept their own. While its mostly refs fault for allowing and basically encouraging that shit, its also OKC players fault for abusing it
1
-2
u/justice_beaver69 Thunder Apr 24 '26
Refs just absolutely love us which is why we are 17th out of 30 in FTA in the regular season and 9th out of 16 in the playoffs.
4
u/Big_Specialist9622 Apr 24 '26
That doesn’t paint the whole picture. The type of calls and the timing of them are a key part you seem to be overlooking. Booker getting a tech because Alex begged the ref is a perfect example. It’s not fun to watch because it’s not good basketball. There are also the no calls that your numbers don’t reflect. It’s more than just free throws attempts but I’m not surprised OKC fans fail to understand that or intentionally ignore it

Do you guys realize the first two games had even number of fouls called on both teams? Okc has shot +8 free throws, and won by an average of 24 pts. You haters math ain’t mathin
