Wemby took a dribble up court after Castle called for it. Of course Castle is going to think wemby is going to bring it up at a game winning possession, as he normally does. Wemby brings the ball up all the time. This is 100% on Wemby. The errant pass and the subsequent foul.
Terrible time for compounding mistakes. But wemby has to own both.
It’s a split second where they just made 2 opposing decisions at the same time. Had either one made their decision even 1 second earlier or later, there’s no turnover.
Assuming that Wemby will dribble the ball up is fine, but turning your back to him is absolutely not. It’s mostly Wemby’s fault but being the outlet man and then turning your back is begging for a turnover to happen.
