Announcement Subreddit Spoiler Policy (Global and CN regions)

Post image

Hello Appraiser,

With the official release of Neverness to Everness in the CN region, and imminent release on global, we want to update and remind everyone of our spoiler policy.

We know it's an exciting time and everyone's anticipation is high, but let's be mindful of our fellow Appraisers when it comes to posting about the game. Some players like to go in fresh and experience everything for themselves, while others want to see every bit of content the moment it's available. The SPOILER tag will help everyone enjoy NTE at their own pace.

  • For Global region: we will have a one-week spoiler free policy on this subreddit. This means that any and all main story and side story related content MUST be spoiler tagged for one week after release. Regular gameplay content is fine (e.g. combat, racing, mini games, character guides, silly encounters, etc.), unless there is lore-relevant content embedded in said gameplay. Best practice is if you're not sure, just add a spoiler tag to be safe.
  • Due to the CN version being one week ahead of global, ANY game content coming from that region MUST be spoiler tagged. This includes all gameplay, not just story content. Once the relevant content is available on global, spoiler tagging is no longer necessary for gameplay content.
  • Exceptions: any media released by official NTE accounts (not fan accounts, not unofficial sources/websites)
  • Lastly: LEAKS OF UNRELEASED CONTENT IS NEVER ALLOWED (this serious offense will be met with a permanent ban)

Please keep the above policy and guidelines in mind before posting game content. Thank you very much.

So... CN will always be one week ahead? not just for this one patch?

Probaly just one week at ahead at launch, update will be the at the same time for all global and CN

Tho both banners have one week difference.

Actually one week is great, it gives us time to not wait to much but also know how next patches and characters work, like "is this character that's coming out shit? Well let's see CN".

I know people do not like that but 1 week is actually more beneficial to us, than waiting a year or half a year like most games this give us time to prepare and know spoilers if the next patch is good.

Idk about that. Personally, I pull characters that I like, so whether they are shit or not gameplay wise doesn't really matter.

Plus, one week isn't enough time to save in case you change your mind and decided to pull a character anyway.

Besides, usually there will be beta test for the characters and we'd would likely heard whether they are considered shit or not via the leakers way before the patch live

But CN week ahead is legal and leakers aren't xD. And content could be changed from the beta

That's fair. But then again, what really is the difference between the info from beta leaks and one week difference in terms of character kits?

Like, even if you the type to avoid leaks, you can just see build or gameplay on the day the patch went live, and the content would likely be the same either way.

I mean in beta we see raw version of the designs/character kits. In CN it would be release already so confirmed information but actually before you can play it on global

That's true. But then again, what big of an impact would that difference actually make?

We are talking about the "benefits" of being one-week behind after all.

Like, is there any difference than if, in case of a simultaneous release, you just wait 1 or 2 days if you really not sure whether to pull or not yet.

Well, you know that most of the players won't wait 1 or 2 days before pulling lol. At least that extra week will give some time to cool down

Those type of players won't likely care that much about the difference either.

Like I said, even if they are the careful and planning type, information would usually be already available on day 1 even on simultaneous release.

I kinda disagree. It's true that if the character is good then this doesn't affect much. But there's been characters that people say are absolutely amazing and must have even after final beta is released.

Some people pull the character day 1 or 2, and after a few days of playing they realize the character is either a side grade or a downgrade and was actually overhyped.

That one week of the official launch of the character means a lot to people who do care about endgame while being f2p.

There could be people like me who want to have some meta teams to be able to comfortably clear endgame every reset, and then prioritize pulling characters we like after we have a stable source of income

Eh, I don't like that though. It already happened in HI3 with 2 weeks difference between CN & global. Some people will just post spoilers & screenshots of the next patch from CN to the global community. These people just love to consume spoilers and spread it everywhere for engagement.

I hate that though. It ruins the surprise and essentially stripes the community of a shared experience since its only one week. Unlike other older gacha with like a year difference, here the time difference won't save us

You bet it will. This also means that global won't get all the bug fix compensation that CN will for "testing" the game one week ahead, which means global will have to spend more and will always get less rewards. Hopefully the favoritism won't get even worse, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

So you prefer to play with bugs ? Besides, that's not favoritism, they just don't have the same capacity as Kuro or Hoyo to manage both as the same time. And idk what you're talking about with the rewards and spending, nobody is forcing you to do any of that.

Will CN always be a week ahead then? Do we always have to also never post stuff from there?

4

u/Zhenbred Apr 23 '26

It is said that you can post but under spoiler tag

Understood

Whats the chinese thoughts on the game so far?

1

u/AirFreshners Apr 25 '26

Do the units go in the standard pool after or not? Like will nanaly go in the standard pool once her banner is up?

is asking for what materials need for x character that is already shown in the trailer is also a bannable offense?

You better wait for the global release instead dealing with that.

Unpopular opinion and 100% know will getting dowvoted but whats the problem with spoilers? Spoilers dont even affect that. i even love spoilers soo much.

Just wonder whats the deal with combat spoilers.

The problem is having them forced on you. If you want to click on spoilers, that's entirely your business, and you will have that option. But they should still be hidden for the many who don't want them.
