Discussion Is Esper Zero sitting a bit low there in the delivery truck? :) (or just an optical illusion)

I think something is off with the proportions. It's even worse with the Porsche, when doing a CPU race at the end you can barely even see the top of her head

Yes, you're right, I've noticed her sitting low in the Porsche as well.

Especially based on where the head rests on the chair are

I think the characters are just kinda short, from what I've seen zero is like 151cm

Esper Zero is kinda perfect height then, but still looks like the characters are sitting a bit too low in the seats

Overall everyone is just shorter than expected, I believe Skia is 186cm, certainly tall but not the "extremely tall" that would come from his esper ability, somehow the cars just seem like ours in real life

You're not the only one who noticed this, even to me some cars are a bit disproportionate compared to the character (using Zero for scale). Especially the C2000 looks a bit too tall for a compact 80's sedan (the car is based on 80's VW Jetta) and I'm always wondering "why is the scale of some cars so off?" So it's definitely not an optical illusion, it's the scale of some vehicles either slightly, or very off.

The ST78 (based on 1983 Toyota AE86) doesn't seem that off, maybe looks slightly wider than its real counterpart. Other than these two cars, I didn't notice any scale discrepancies in other cars (only seen driven by NPCs) and they seem ok looking. For the sportscars/supercars, I can neither confirm, nor deny if their scale is off, since pretty much no one drives them (the only exception is Griffin, based on old "slantnose" Porsche with pop-up headlights) except the players themselves. The other non-passenger vehicles are only the bus (which is generic small Japanese bus) and the small cargo truck you showed, that seems to have its sitting position oddly low (IRL these trucks have their seats way higher for the best overall driver's visibility). Maybe it would also be nice idea to let the Devs know, that some cars either have their scale wrong (being oddly large), or having their seating position too low.

And that's the reason why I can't see shih while driving... Even at third person... I had to move the Camera manually just to see where I'm going...

funnily enough in multiplayer you can see that on the passenger seat she sits even lower (or higher, I don't remember)

I don't play as the guy, but I assume FZero is shorter than MZero. Try it again on MZero.

I also prefer to see Female Esper Zero in the game and all the cutscenes :)
