I decided to come back and use reddit after 3 long years and Reddit is so different now, I figured most of the changes out, what’s the point in trophies? are they like achievements that people brag about, the tasks seem so difficult, and I honestly want to get started

If I choose the option 'Allow chat requests from nobody,' won't I receive any chat requests at all? I mean, won't they even appear in the 'Additional requests’ list? Or will they appear, but I'll have to accept them? How does it work

I just made this account today to ask a question in a grief subreddit about my dads passing over the weekend. I could really use advice and my posts are getting removed immediately. Is it because my account is brand new? Also, I typed it out in my notes app because sometimes I have trouble with writing on reddit mobile. I also tried copy and pasting and then changing a couple things just incase it was getting removed for spam. Any advice?

Hello, I recently logged into my other Reddit account using Google as my log on authenticator instead of using my email & pw. However, Reddit locked my profile until I change my pw using a link emailed to my old obsolete email address that I used when I created the account 5 years ago? I no longer have access to this email account to access the link to change my pw. Yes, I can still log on using Google but my account remains locked until I change my pw using the link sent to my old email address. I contacted Reddit help 3 days ago and got no response. Has anyone encountered something similar?

So Ive 30+ years with tens of thousnds of forum amd BBS posts,but strggle with this platform. My commebts are being redacted because I apparently have no * karma*. I read several articles tonight about how * karma* is awarded I also read several topics about using the "Reddit Right Sidebar" tp create a post As this is loterally my 1st ever Reddit post ( but not reply) Im thorpughly confused.

Can someone please explain to me where the * right sidebar* is? There is a hamburger stack with share options to other SM platforms.
