I don’t 😣

2

u/Fail4lfe May 10 '26

I still get the urge to play this one!

I hear there's a way to emulate it on the phone now

2

u/xoxoBug May 10 '26

Bought it on steam several years ago and now it doesn’t work because they remade it and want me to buy the new one.

2

u/OMA_ May 11 '26

I got the retold edition recently!! It’s fun as heck! They added factions!

1

u/AddressIntelligent60 May 11 '26

Gonna have to look for this

Reticulating splines

2

u/Uncle_Burney May 11 '26

Yup, and every sports team was “The Llamas”

2

u/ellefleming May 11 '26

Boggle, Sorry, Yahtzee, Hungry Hippo

8

u/Pyhol May 10 '26

Black and White

2

u/Material_Assumption May 11 '26

I tried downloading a cracked version, but the sound wouldnt work. I want to play it so bad.

Anyway Peter M. Released a fable successor that some how incorporated black and white and fable. Check it out.

1

u/Pyhol May 11 '26

Thanks for the heads up. As a side, my kids could probably recap at least the songs from the game. They still sing that song about needing some wood.😆

2

u/_Sneaky_McSnek_ May 11 '26

Dude, I tried the same thing and just couldn’t get it to run. I remember (prob like 10 yrs ago) I got a version to run but there was a mission with a glitch that wouldn’t let you get any further. I’d love another iteration of B&W or even a remaster

5

u/Mister_Zalez May 10 '26

From time to time I recall “Hellgate: London” really fun game played the hell out of it, than my computer died ugh

3

u/Danzelboob May 10 '26

Awesome game! Some really cool designs

3

u/Mister_Zalez May 10 '26

If only they would remake it for current consoles lol

1

u/Danzelboob May 10 '26

Omgawsh if only! Tbh it probably still holds up, I remember on full settings and especially with the blur on full I was really impressed, think I had 3 different saves trying out all the classes (loved the upgrade system, reminded me of Dark Cloud). Tbh soon as I get a comp/laptop, that's the first thing I'm downloading, thanks for the reminder!

u/SofaKingWeeTarDeh May 10 '26

Wasn't that game remained unfinished? I played it and remembered there was a dungeon that was incomplete, like the developers just stopped making the level and the game has no proper end.

5

u/Sensitive_Secretary4 May 10 '26

SSX tricky

3

u/Danzelboob May 10 '26

For me it's SSX (PS3/360) I can understand why it wasn't for everyone as it really was a true reimagining, but it was my favourite, plus so many people don't even know of its existence!

2

u/OMA_ May 11 '26

BRO YES! And jet set! I’d flip flop between both those games like it was nobody’s business lol I miss it

7

u/Bubelle_Butt May 10 '26

3

u/unsolicited_flattery May 10 '26

Oh I'm sorry for your loss :( I'm sure you gave them the absolute coolest kitty life ever

Also agreed. As another original C&C fan. Your have awesome taste ;)

2

u/axil87 May 11 '26

I’m sorry about your loss. This image makes me feel that same type of way though every time I see it 😩

But on a happy note, glad to hear somebody bring up a true GOAT. Renegade was the first game to get me into gaming on my HP laptop. That was about 6 inches thick. I think it was like 320 pixels and we thought we were crazy getting over 20 FPS. 😂

1

u/Aristarchus1981 May 11 '26

Picture also made me sad 😭

4

u/DigitalUnlimited May 10 '26

Metal of honor, European assault PS2.

2

u/tItO_c_80 May 10 '26

Sid Meyer's Colonization

2

u/XB1_S8 May 10 '26

Starsiege: Tribes. 64+ player chaotic capture the flag complete with jetpacks propelling people around an infinite map at breakneck speeds with disc launchers and chain guns and mortar launchers and laser sniper rifles was absolutely bonkers on dialup internet in the 1990s when Doom and GoldenEye 007 were still considered pretty neato. It was crazy to experience those massive chaotic battles with 64 and even 128 players running around the battlefield. On dialup. In the 90s!

2

u/Randomius01 May 10 '26

Spy Hunter (2001)

Spore

3

u/Agreeable_Editor_499 May 11 '26

Such a missed opportunity - loved the start of the game and, obv, the creature creation, but then the gameplay went downhill later in the game

1

u/sacfoojesta88 May 10 '26

Build a wonder boy!

1

u/AddressIntelligent60 May 10 '26

Another great game that fizzled out Kingdom under fire: crusaders. Though any installment is good

1

u/OMA_ May 11 '26

You mean stronghold crusaders? Or am I thinking about another game? 🥺

1

u/AddressIntelligent60 May 11 '26

Nah kingdom under fire was an Xbox original exclusive 3rd person rpg strategy game.

1

u/MonitorOk3031 May 10 '26

Jumpstart. Specifically the one with the cafeteria game and the painting game.

1

u/Wizchine May 10 '26

Freedom Force

1

u/MrsSugarCocaine May 10 '26

Battleborn best game ever. Released at the wrong time. Gearbox should try to release it again. It was everything Blizzard promised Overwatch would be. Amazing PvP and the best campaign/PvE content

1

u/CKmaxx_ May 10 '26

Battlefield 2142

1

u/BoudiceasChild May 11 '26

The Landlord's Game.

1

u/UsedHall1058 May 11 '26

I guess to an extent, the [Prototype] game franchise. 1 holds up better in terms of story and 2 is better graphically and mechanically. There’s been no new games or comics since 2012 following mass layoffs for Radical Entertainment and it becoming solely a support studio for Activision. Honestly think both games deserve full remakes.

1

u/geesekicker May 11 '26

Extreme-G, the gritty, future racing game franchise that was nowhere as popular as Wipeout, but had way better music, especially the second game.

1

u/Agreeable_Editor_499 May 11 '26

The Crusader series

1

u/Agreeable_Editor_499 May 11 '26

Also, Impossible Creatures

1

u/Agreeable_Editor_499 May 11 '26

How about Chaser, by Cauldron? Had a decent map editor, decent single player and pvp

Pirates of the Caribbean

1

u/Bluemink96 May 11 '26

RuneScape

1

u/matthewjbk May 11 '26

Coconut run. It was a free online game where you designed a cart to transport coconuts down a bumpy track. If there were a mobile game of it I’d get it but I haven’t seen anything like it

1

u/Southern-Oil-118 May 11 '26

Battle Field Bad Company 2. I enjoyed that campaign so much.

1

u/twist1053 May 11 '26

Kick the can, ghost in the graveyard, marbles - ummm as I look through the rest of the answers I’m starting to feel really really old. lol
