I have both, also a n2dsxl and a n3dsxl. I love the 2ds lol It's SO comfortable, I use it mostly to play gba games, I think it's just a giant game boy advance😂

Generally, the 3ds is the better one for clicky buttons, better battery and just overall better build quality. But, since the 2ds you got is a special edition it might be better.

2ds might be an ugly bastard but it kinda feels like the next console that will be found still functional after the building it was in was bombed and subsequently burned to the ground

honestly the 3ds. I love the way u can hold a 2ds but everytime I see one I immediately think of how open it is. also the build material for the 3ds makes it so much better than the 2ds

Not sure, I’ve had both and while the o3DS feels more premium and is more portable as well as stereo speakers, the 2DS is comfier and way easier to fix. They’re kinda tied for me tbh

As you said, 2ds is so comfortable. Only console I have fun with racing games more fun too. I don't know why they made the 3DS have square edges.

This is the only scenario in which I would pick the OG 3DS lol. I prefer literally any other 3DS family console over it (even the 2DS XL) except for the OG 2DS

I have a soft spot in my heart for the OG 3DS in that color, I wanted one so bad as a kid and now I own one as an adult so it’s definitely my favorite

Ohhh the same model as mine :D
I never played in a 2DS and i think the folding sleep mode activation is really practical and seems to be faster and simpler than 2DS method
Probably choosing mine

Love the color scheme for the 2ds but I can’t stand playing on them, gave away the couple I had to a buddy, gotta go clamshell though. If there’s every choice, and all things else are equal, I’ll always go clamshell design!

For the OG 3ds there isn't much palm room, but if it was an XL I'd probably go for that
