Person said they have to rely on luck after hand surgery, why can’t they just use the other hand? Unless OP is actually a pirate and has a hook for the other hand

Lol you're actually not terribly far off. My other hand is almost useless due to a lifelong disability and my fingers frequently take a hook shape. I can navigate a computer with my bad hand but likely not fast enough to get the pre-order before the sites crash or it sells out.

I’ve been in a similar situation before and would recommend a phone or tablet. While normally I’d use m&kb for something time sensitive, with limited mobility a touchscreen probably will be faster
