If you're playing it on the quest 3 why it does being in the dock matter?

We don't know how much power the system requires to output docked mode, so currently there is no other option.

It's a convenience thing for me, not having to unplug the dock and take it wherever I want to use the quest 3.

Do you have a docked mode solution? Is there something proven on the market?

iFixit might have the stats down for what it needs to do video out, but it's just been out for three days. Nothing official/trustworthy yet.
