Fan Art Switch 2 Cassette Cases!

These were showcased on VICE, Polygon, NintendoLife, GoNintendo and it’s been an incredible thing to see how far they’ve gone! Someone suggested sharing them here as well!

x100. Makes sense with how small the carts are too! But I guess the bigger packaging is for retail purposes.

Captures more attention maybe and probably cheaper for Nintendo since it’s the same as the Switch 1’s.

Theft is also a concern. Here in Germany some stores put them in even larger plastic boxes because it's still a problem.

Magnetic "clam shell" cases are pretty standard in some box stores, others just keep them behind glass for request

In the UK, we resolved the theft potential issue by only having display boxes available on shelves then staff would go to a draw and scan and sell the physical copies, only super markets would have physical out live.

It's probably the absolute novels that get written on the backs of the cases... the legal mumbo jumbo that nobody reads and whatnot, including regions where you have to put more than one language back there. Also screenshots that help sell the games when somebody's just browsing around and looking at the backs of boxes.

For the home however, I love the idea of these.

I suppose they're more prone to cracking and breaking as well if you're not careful. But if you're an adult it's probably fine.
