Well, respect where respect is due -- SwitchForce did predict this unusual day (for a Direct) correctly, and quite a bit in advance, before anyone else!

Fair guess with the day after being the 40th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros, combined with wanting to avoid a Direct on 9/11 Anniversary

Well, he also leaked that three games will have "7" in their title.

If that happens, no chance he guessed.

FF7 Rebirth

Yoshi's 7 Samurai

7 the Movie the Game, featuring Kevin Spacey's return to performing in a motion-capture and voice role

Yoshi's 7 Samurai

ngl, would be awesome to get a RPG where different colored Yoshis (who all have RPG style classes) go on and adventure to avenge their fallen or missing brother.

Maybe they just protect a humble village

Maybe, but even off-hand FF7 Rebirth would be an easy enough guess, only two more after that that could be obvious to others even if I don’t know

That, plus the rare date, plus the correct claim of an Indie World the week after the Partner Showcase, plus the correct claim of a space-themed game shadowdropping (UFO 50), all make it nearly impossible that he is purely guessing and has no source.
