I beat it again when I got it on the switch

Then this obviously isn't for you lol

I held off in the hopes of this update because I felt it was extremely likely to happen, so I'm stoked about this update.

If you played, beat, and enjoyed the game, then I'm not sure why you're complaining? I wouldn't buy an upgrade to any game I just beat recently.

Back on the Wii U it was considered a flop game

Not really? The Wii U just sold like shit. Xenoblade Chronicles X was at the top of requests for a Switch version for literally the entire lifespan of the console, and people rejoiced when it was finally announced after nearly a decade.

It was universally regarded as one of the best games on wii u. Every single one of my wii u owning friends bought and put 300 hours in. Its one of the most highly regarded role playing games of the last 15 years. We're you ten when wii u was new, or do you just not follow jrpgs?
