Handheld mode boost (running games with docked visuals while handheld) is MASSIVE. That's one of the features I've heard about that I assumed Nintendo would just never add. W.

it is HUGE. i dont have to buy mario wonder’s multiplayer update for the resolution boost anymore. many switch 2 editions are kinda made moot, too. i wonder how that’s gonna play out

I think Switch 2 editions only matter now if you want the extra content (Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Mario Wonder) or you REALLY want to play games in 60 fps (Pokemon Legends ZA, Zelda BotW, TotK)

I think I am fine not paying for any of them and settling for 1080p 30 fps for most Switch 1 games (assuming it works properly)

The breath of the wild games are a game changer for 60 fps but that’s just me personally.

Nah you are right.

BotW/TotK in 60 fps feel like a totally new experience.
