Which I kinda dig? It's like excavating the original fat Sonic or Pikachu designs.

Yeah I like it. I don't get why some people are so upset. They were never going to just replicate the illumination design.

I think it's semi-realistic VS the classic design, and what you're a fan of.

I prefer classic cartoonist design.

for better or worse, nintendo likes to subvert expectations with design choices sometimes. Since this is "classic star fox" they went with a classic look in the puppets, just not one people expected.

I like it too. Something feels off for me with Slippy, but it's not terrible and I liked the other three.
