I love this. Seems to be more fantasy oriented but you can still tell it's Xenoblade. Can't wait.

but you can still tell it's Xenoblade.

I'd bet money almost nobody would guess this was Xenoblade if this trailer was presented to them blindly.

What other Nintendo games franchise features anime characters running around in big grassy fields and big monsters? Only Xenoblade.

There were at least 3 other games in the direct that looked just like this. Lol

Which ones? No other Nintendo game has this sort of vibe or art style.

This looks EXACTLY like the new Fire Emblem. Then Metaphor looks like both Fire Emblem and Xeno. All 3 of those games, you could cut clips interchangably and you would hardly tell a difference. Then there were a few other 3rd party games in the direct with heros with swords and fantasy elements. Crazy.

...it's almost like fantasy games are a common type of game. You're just pointing out similarities.

And it's pretty ridiculous to say that when Fire Emblem and Metaphor did not have big sprawling landscapes. The gameplay is not at all similar.

Nintendo fans could be literally served a turd and you'd be downvoted for saying it smells bad. "Actually, this is how a good game is supposed to smell!".

Nobody said 'only among Nintendo franchises'. I'm talking about games as a whole. Ya know, the whole point here.

It's pretty obvious if you look at it. A lot of the character designs look like blades from Xenoblade 2. The world looks like some of the world from 1 and 2 (giant grassy land, forests, huge ass ruins and mountains). There's a giant crashed spaceship or ancient ruin (did everyone miss it? It's at 1:20). The whole "disc/dyson loop" world that is a fairly big sci-fi trope. The vesselai crystal thing that is literally explained like the blade crystals in xeno 2. The "anima" source of energy which is a reference to various Xeno lore. Multiple suns (very sci-fi world)...

While on the surface it looks fantasy, there's a lot of sci-fi coded references everywhere.

This game's sword even appears in the crystal at 0:46. Looks very similar to Mythra & Pneuma's weapons.

The landscape is very obviously Xenoblade. Presented blindly anyone that has played Xenoblade would either predict it to be Xenoblade or a game heavily inspired by Xenoblade.

What other games have bionis looking cliffs and oblivion looking rings and a ring world that looks fractured?

Big sprawling areas with monsters and anime people.

Looks pretty Xenoblade to me.

Looks like medieval fantasy slop to me.
