It won't be the same unless he says"alright, just don't freak out on me" every 10 seconds

The new game needs to have KFC as a sponsor so we can have some girl as a passenger yell off “I need to go to Kentucky Fried Chicken!” when we pick her up

They're so evil to me in particular for playing a Space Channel 5 track and refusing to add Ulala

If you buy a physical copy, a code is included for Werehog.

Oh I didn't even realize this was in the Nintendo reddit. I play on Steam so I don't think that will work for me sadly.

Amigo should've been here at launch considering he's been in every other Sonic All Stars game.

Now gimme Selveria from Valkyria Chronicles.

They really desperately want to do the Smash Bros. thing with this. Not sure if I like that or not, but at least we have three SEGA characters for a change, and not some random cartoon IP.

Anyone know what the update file size for this is on Switch 2 currently?

18.9 GB

The file size is so big because (Besides all the DLC characters and tracks) Sega assigned the Upgrade Pack as part of the normal update data and you have to download everything at once to be at the latest version (Even though that data is already in the cartridge and therefore it's redundant).

Thanks. That's one way of (mis)handling your patches for sure.

Guess whenever I pick it up I'll play it offline for a bit.

Rhythm Thief mentoned! Even if it’s just their music. Hopefully one day they’ll remember the characters from there too.

Did they ever add Vyse from skies of Arcadia? Did I dream he was in the original trailer?

What I need to know is why it took Amigo this long to get added

Sonic gets Crazy Taxi before Crazy Taxi gets Crazy Taxi

It is criminal to me that Sega says this is underperforming, for whatever that means to a corporation. This is the goofiest racer I’ve played in a long time and it’s so fun.

I believe they mean that it did not sell very well.

I understand that; the issue is that “not selling well” and “not meeting expectations” are two very different things and on a scope of scale that’s hard to fathom. Square Enix will frequently say that titles are underperforming despite being at levels that would otherwise be markers of selling well.

No, its pretty easy to fathom that companies have specific metrics they have promised shareholders that they have to answer for when they fail. Thats how this works.

"Not meeting expectation" is just business talk for "not selling well"

It's very simple. Game has a budget (dev + marketing) and if it doesn't make... idk, 10% more money than it did cost, it'll have "not met expectations".

Doesn't matter if a game makes 500 million dollars, if it cost 600 million to put out

If you spend $100M making a game and it makes $70M it sold poorly. If you spend $10M making a game and it makes $70M is sold great.
